I won a trophy saddle form Teskeys saddle shop. I was wondering if someone could give me insight on the differences between the Charmayne James, Martha Josey, and Buster Welch trees? And which is best?

Have you talked to a Teskey's fitter about the differences? Nice folks and I'm sure they'd give you the details and help you decide which one would be best. And remember - "best" is a personal preference based on what you like.

When I had my custom done they explained all the tree features to me, but I don't really remember what they were. But the guy was more than happy to help me pick one, even asked lots of questions about my horse & what would fit him best. I suggest discussing it with someone there

The CJ is going to be a wider, flatter bars tree. Fits horses with big shoulders and wide backs. I absolutely love that tree, but my horses are big and wide. LOL
