| Anyone been listening to good podcasts lately? Can be horse related or not. I saw a post from sometime last year where it was discussed, but wondered if there was anything new out there. TIA Office Ladies (Angela & Pam from The Office) is new and really great if you liked the show. I also liked Dr. Death, The Stranger Next Door, Married with Horses, American Scandal, and Magnus Archives. |

| One that I like that hasn't been mentioned is Finding the Feel. I comes from a working cow horse background, but a lot of things they talked about resonated on the preformance horse/ barrel horse side. They only did a couple of episodes, but they were good ones. |

| Not a dummy at all - podcasts haven't been around that long. It is an app that you can get on your smart phone to listen to stuff people have recorded and published. You can find podcasts on Itunes (that's Apple's version), Podbean, Spotify and a couple of others. You can probably also listen to them over your computer, but I'm not sure how. Once you have the app, you can search for topics you might be interested in - I listen to podcasts about barrel racing, horsemanship, basic horse stuff, true crime, serial murders (my hubby is a little nervious about that one), history, politics- whatever you are interested in. Maybe there is somebody that you like their ideas - Ben Shapiro, Dave Ramsey, Joe Rogan.. Maybe there's something you want to learn how to do - lose weight, learn French, raise Mongolian tree frogs, whatever- there is probably a podcast out there about it. Once you start listening to things, the app you use will start suggesting others like what you listened too and you go down lots of rabbit holes seeing whatelse is out there. When you find ones you like, you can follow or subscribe to them and you will be notified when a new episode is put out. I drive a lot for my job, so I've started listening to podcasts through my truck radio instead of listening to music. |

| Started listening to Crime Junkie after reading this thread and I CANNOT STOP. It is so good! A big thing for me when listening to podcasts is... is the host annoying? The host of this podcast is amazing and I could listen for hours!

Location: Texas | If you like true crime-- Crime Junkies is really good! I might have binge listened to 2 years of podcasts in... 3 weeks... They add a new recording each Monday. They gloss over the important facts and details of murders, missing people, serial killers and conspiracies. Serial -- The first two seasons were really good. The first season covers the Adnan Syed case and the second covers Bowe Bergdahl. I just started listening to Horseman's Academy podcast today, which so far has been enjoyable. |

I recently launched a podcast called That Cowgirl Life. I am interviewing awesome women in the horse (and related) industries. Episode 3 was released today. It should be available on most podcast apps!
Episode 1 - Amberly & Autumn Snyder Episode 2 - Hay Chix owners, Erin & Kris Episode 3 - Brandy Von Holten
New episodes each Thursday. I'm also always taking suggestions on women who would be a great interview, if you know of anyone let me know!

Ive listened to the first 2 episodes and you have a great voice and can hear everyone really good. I hate interviews when you cant hear everything the guest is saying. |

Thank you so much! I try to record in-person as much as possible, which really helps with the audio quality. It's funny you say that about my voice, I'm sure all people feel this way but it's definitely been weird listening to myself talk. You're the second person that has said that though, so thank you! |

If you liked Up and Vanished you should try In Your Own Backyard. It’s about a college student who disappeared in 1996 from Cal Poly. It’s only 7 episodes but my guess is they’ll keep updating as the podcast is leading to new evidence and information. |
