When it comes to sponsors, for the big dogs let's say... do they really utilize their sponsors products or just mention them a few times and wear a patch to promote it? Like feed and or supplements? And do you feel like if so n so is feeding this or that, than you should try it as well? I'm just curious, and bored waiting for the internet guys to show up at my house lol!

I love to scope out what they SAY they use. But I don't use a product just because they do. I'll research it first if I think it is something that might help a particular horse/situation.

I'm not sure the answer to your question, but I will admit that I try to scope out what tack/saddles/pads/cinches/bits/etc they are each using.
I know, it's a strange question! I just notice when someone wins a big race or whatever, their sponsor posts it all over their social media so I was just wondering if the person being sponsored really uses it. I know there is not really a supplement or single feed that will MAKE your horse a winner... with so many out there to chose from I just cant help but wonder if when one of their sponsored riders wins big if their sales jump up lol!

A lot of sponsors give them various products. I know Equipride has given my trainer Equipride and also some really nice shirts. When we went to the APHA World Show my trainer had on a shirt that had Equipride on it and they do not allow sponsor names on shirts. They had a guy in the back with a roll of blue duct tape ready to cover up anything that was not allowed. All my pictures have blue duct tape on her shirt. On the rough stock riders shirts if it says something like Hertz/Penske they are given money and may get a free rental if they fly into a rodeo.

LOL Notice how many at the NFR have Purina logos on their shirts??? I know a few and they do NOT feed Purina.
I see a lot of the checkerboard flashing for sure! That's what I'm wondering. Because I know I've seen some contradictions along the way lol! I have a few friends that say they are sponsored by so n so and they get an "allowance" for the feed or supplement each month but not a full ride...
