I only found super old threads so - Legend Trailers.

I know they are no longer in business.  Would you consider a well kept Legend that met all your requirements?  Why or Why not?

New is not in my budget so as far as having access to the actual company, not sure that's a big deal on used?

you'll probably get more responses asking on HorseTrailerWorld instead.  I've never heard of a Legend - maybe a regional trailer?

My parents have an old Legend. They haven't pulled it in probably 5-7 years. They bought it brand new and never had any trouble with it. Just check for rust since they are steel trailers. They were made down by Coleman, OK. For some reason, I want to say Sundowner made them or something like that. I could be wrong.

I really like the trailer. But am I nuts to even consider a steel frame aluminum skinned trailer? ,

Be sure to REALLY look it over good.  So many of the aluminum over steel ended up rusting & MAJOR corrosion between the 2 metals due to not being done correctly.  I borrowed a BP from a friend back when that combo was "popular" & it was NOT an old trailer (won't mention the brand name, they have since quit doing that), but man - the rust inbetween was HORRID.  Now - this was in a state that used heavy salt on the roads in the winter, but still ... my all steel trailer didn't rust like that.  The 2 metals against each other can cause extra issues.
