Has anyone ever had a horse that is allergic to the mold that grows in the seed head of bahia grass due to the humidity and rain in the south? I live in the northeast and that grass doesn’t grow here so wondering if anyone had experience with this? 

 Are you buying this bahia grass as hay for your horses?  I live in South Texas and I hate this grass, its been taking over my pastures and this stuff is tough as nails on my shredder and really tough on hay equipment, been trying to kill out this Bahia grass, I know all the hay guys here hate it just as much as I do.. I didnt think anybody really baled up this stuff

No, luckily we don't have that grass up here in the North. I'm buying a horse from the south who can't be around it. It sounds like she'll be much more comfortable up here.
