Location: Kansas / South Dakota | Sounds like TSC is going to start carrying Triple Crown. Their products are somewhat new to my area, but I've heard nothing but good things on here/Facebook from those who feed TC. I was curious which Triple Crown feeds you all use and why?? Or if you switched from TC, why?? |

| I'm also interested in this. Sadly, the only thing in my area is a TSC so I'm limited to what they have unless I order it online. |

Location: Under The Big Sky Of Texas | My advice on the Triple Crown is to make sure the TC that your Tractor Supply is carring is milled by BlueBonnet in Ok. I like the Triple Crown but its got to be milled by BlueBonnet. If its not Milled by BB then I would look at a different feed company. |

Yes, only way I'd consider feeding TC. Fortunately for me my BB dealer and Purina dealer both carry TC from Ardmore. With TSC you never know where it's coming from until you ask, but with tsc, good luck with that! |

| On TC bags, LOOK AT THE TAG. It will tell you the mill right next to the date it was made. Out here in CA, most of our stores cary TC that was made in CG, meaning Casa Grande , AZ. I won't feed it because of that. |

Location: Montana | We started feeding TC Balancer 30 13 months ago. 1# per horse/day. All look great (weaklings, all ages, stallions), slick shine, great condition for performance. |

Location: TExas | So here is the deal. Bluebonnet will not be milling the Triple Crown that is in TSC. It will be milled by Purina. Bluebonnet will continue to mill it but it will be in the stores that carry it with BB. |

Good to know! I dont think I'd hesitate to feed the TC if it were milled by purina. But just from experience with tsc, I'd buy all my grain from the feed stores instead. |

If my understanding is correct... Blue Bonnet has the same mix everytime, exact same. Purina goes with cheaper ingredients, so the mix can vary slightly... meaning that the mix will be made up of same ingredients, but that the mix can vary based on which ingredients are cheaper... Do I have that right? |

Location: TExas | Yes you are correct on that BB has to use exact same ingredients because it is listed by them on the tag. And another thing to remember BB is a Ionophore FREE mill! |

| So purina does least cost? Therefore if purina is milling TC it will be done the same? (Least cost) and BB is a fixed formula so TC coming from them will be fixed. Did I get that right?! Lol! |

| Any mill making Triple Crown (Whether Purina, BlueBonnet, Blue Seal etc) will always use high quality ingredients that meet Triple Crown specifications, the mills follow strict mill standards and follow Triple Crown's fixed formulations. There is no changing or mixing around of ingredients. The formulas are fixed. The Purina mills producting Triple Crown are also ionophore free manufacturing systems. If you have Triple Crown feed questions, mill questions or questions on TSC, reach out to Triple Crown at info@triplecrownfeed.com, call 800-451-9916, or talk to them on Facebook. Triple Crown Feed
I will not trust any mill unless its BlueBonnet and I trust BlueBonnet, been useing them for 25 plus years and will only buy Triple Crown that is milled by BlueBonnet if I ever feel like I need to go that way.. My horses mean alot to me. I know that Triple Crown has bounce around using different mills and BlueBonnet is the only mill I will ever trust..Thats just me... |

| Most of the manufactuerers making Triple Crown Feed across the US put the date code on the bottom white tear strip of the feed bag and it may show as a series of numbers or numbers and letters. Otherwise, the bags don't have tags on them, however, feed made by Bluebonnet does have a feed tag on it. Triple Crown isn't made at any mill in Casa Grande, AZ. If we can help with any other questions, please reach out to Triple Crown. -Jessica Drexler, Triple Crown Feed |

So if my bag has the strip of numbers, but no tag, it wasn't milled by Blue Bonnet? And how do I know where it was milled? I'm in Oregon and buy my feed at Wilco. |

| All I know is I bought a bag of TC naturals and my horse liked it but he looked worse on it. So I didn't buy anymore. Right after that the feed store quit carrying it anyways so idk about TC after that experience. But that was just my one try. |

Last I heard TC milled in the West Coast (I think that's the name but I forget) feed mill in CA, which is the same mill that had an ionophore poisoning incident several years ago that they blamed on shipping. The mill has not changed any of their practices and still manufactures medicated feed but Triple Crown says it is safe. I like Triple Crown crown products but will not risk my horses lives on a feed that risky even though the company swears it is not.

Location: Minnesota | I feed Triple Crown Senior and Triple Crown 30% Ration Balancer. This choice was made after feeding a local feed that made my gelding look awful and have ulcers. We treated for both fore and hind gut ulcers and made the change to TC Senior and alls I can say is WOW!! I am impressed. Its costly but I love that they have the buy 12 bags get a $25 gift card (essentially a free bag). I am not sure you could convince me to switch off of this feed after seeing how much it helped my gelding. |

| For GLP- The Gold Line will be available through independent feed dealers and they can order in per customer requests. (not available at TSC or large box stores) Perform Gold is coming out in the next week or two, the Senior Gold and Balancer Gold products are coming out late February, early March. This line has enhanced electrolyte support, additional gastric support, whey protein, higher fat levels and low NSC levels. Perform Gold is soybean meal free, but still contains soy hulls and oil (for those curious) and it is a high fat pelleted feed. Senior Gold will be a textured feed like the orignal Senior. The Balancer Gold is soybean meal free, you'll see it has higher fat than the original 30% Ration Balancer and lower protein content. To see more, check out- https://www.triplecrownfeed.com/gold/ Regarding who is manufacturing your feed, please check the bottom of your feed bag on the white tear strip for a series of numbers/letters and contact Triple Crown via Facebook private messages, email info@triplecrownfeed.com or call 800-451-9916 to find out who is making the feed. What feed mills are doing the milling for Triple Crown? I know for sure that BlueBonnet is one of them I use Triple Crown Lite and it comes from BlueBonnet, but just wonder what other feed companys are milling TC. And someone was asking me how long has Triple Crown has been in business so wondering this too. Thank you for the answers. |

| To SouthTXPonyGirl- TC has been in business since 1989 and we've always worked with a variety of mills to help manufacture and distribute our feeds for us. Right now we work with a variety of companies and well over 20 mills across theUS. It is not an easy answer, therefore, to list all the mill locations. Since you mention you are in TX and use TC made by Bluebonnet, we can reply to that. Bluebonnet is making TC for that area of the country, in addition, we have some Purina mills that will be making Triple Crown to be distributed into Tractor Supply Stores. All mills are making the same fixed formula and our feed is manufactured on ionophore free manufacturing systems.
