Father God, guide me today to do all things that will bring glory and honor to You AMEN  

Worship, in reality, isn't that complicated. Simply stated, worship takes place when we are rightly respond to God. Psalm 29:1-11 is contemplateing the enormity, majesty and power of God and as he does so, He is inspired to worship.  A massive thunderstorm is most likely the backdrop of this particulate psalm. Each aspect of the storm allows the pslamist to envision God. He hears the thunder and remembers the God of glory. When the storm front moves across the water,the God who created the seas comes to mind.  In the palpable concussion of the thunder, he imagines the voice of God. The storm on land moving into and leveling those vast stalwart cedar forests of Lebanon demonstrates clearly the power of the psalmist's God. Just as Isaiah was moved to worship when he saw God sitting upon His throne; the writer of the psalm saw in nature a reminder of the greatness of God and was moved to worship. This psalm encourages us to consider God; for when we do, we will be compelled to worship as well. Psalm 29:1-11 Give unto the Lord, O you mighty ones, give unto the Lord glory and strength. Give unto the Lord the glory due to His name; worship the Lord in the beauty of His holiness. The voice of the Lord is over the waters; the God of glory thunders; the Lord is over many waters. The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord  is full of majesty. He makes them also skip like a calf, Lebanon and Sirion like a young wild ox. The voice of the Lord divines the flames of fire. V 11 The Lord will give strength to His people;the Lord will bless His people with peace. For it is WITH God ALL things ARE POSSIBLE Matthew 19:26
