So I finally have a couple of nice up and comers and its been a few years since I had a truly competitive horse.  I have never joined BBR and I have read the rules etc. Why have you joined? was it just to get to go to the finals?  what is the pros and cons as you see it?  I will be going to the local races anyway that mostly are BBR approved just wondered if you have won prizes etc? Is it hard to get points and prizes?  Just wanting some opinions please. thanks!

If you plan on going to the finals I would join, other than that around here in the Southeast you dont really get anything from your points except for bragging rights. Other parts of the country may be different though :) 

I dont think it matters where you are from  they give the year end prizes at the finals  everyone is in it together   it is not separated by states or regions.  Ive seen some get some nice prizes and they have them displayed at the finals. and they also have prizes for the finals.  it is worth it if you hit at the finals! it pays great!  One of the biggest races at the finals!
