I'm trying to get one of my mares cycles tracked. I just brought in a bunch of new mares today to the farm and notice the one I'm watching started swishing tail & winking at them but no squatting or urinating. Is there something else going on here? Start of heat cycle or an underlying problem?

I have seen mares who will wink and pee but they swish their tails. That's not heat. The only thing I can come up with is submissive.
