What would you pay to have someone come and take care of manes and tails on a weekly basis?  Rebraid and put tail bags on.  I hate it, but I hate tangled manes more except that I don't have the time.  Per horse or per hour, etc...

I have no idea what it would be worth.  However, I would definetly pay per horse.  Per horse to me is most beneficial to the person you hire.  That would allow them to plan day work being done between you and other clients.

The job itself probably shouldn't pay that  well,  but the mileage and time driving is their biggest expense and inconvenience. Do you have a local girl needing some pocket money? That can walk or ride a bike over? How many horses.

I would probably pay $10 a horse. BUT I am a mane and tail freak so it is worth it to me LOL. I also only redo them about every 2-3 weeks. Old photos (everyone is about 4+ inches longer now) but you catch my drift.

LOL, well practice makes perfect and at least you dont have to worry about it anymore. Seems pretty reasonable for $5/ horse for a young kid wanting to make some extra cash on the side. :

I would pay at least 10 per horse, make it to were they want to keep coming back, 5 dollars just dont seem like its worth it to me, lol

And kinda depends on how many they will be doing.

He's doing 17 horses so he has plenty to do.  If he can get it down to 30 mins each it will be fair.  The first time getting all the tangles out it has taken him about 45 mins per horse.
