Im between a few different brands.  I was wondering what everyones take was on the Roohide barrel saddles.  I am 5'7"  and approx 125 pounds (pre quarantine ) with a 34 inch inseam.  I feel like with long legs some of the saddles push me forward and theres not enough room for my leg before my thigh hits the pommel.  Everyone I know loves the Shiloh saddle but they just dont feel right to me.  Ive tried multiple different seat sizes and I always feel like my thigh hits the pommel and my feet are behind me.  Im riding in my daughters hand me down (thats how Moms roll sometimes) and its a Tod Slone 14 and I really like it.  I kinda need my own though at some point.  We also have a Jeff Smith, Mary Walker, that my legs sit right in but the 14.5 inch seat feel swimmy to me.  It is really comfortable though.

Have you tried Lynn McKenzie with the Comfort Cantle? If you can, try that. Lynn is great to talk to on the phone with, will help you out.

I LOVE mine! If I had the money, I would buy a handful more. Call John and Brian at Roohide and speak with them. They'll ask for pictures of your horses, tell you which trees would work best and why, and explain how the Roo sits you in the saddle, not on it. They are a great investment!!
