Makes you wonder what the WPRA/PRCA is thinking? You guys think the rodeo season is done? No NFR?
My concern with the NFR is will we be back to having large gatherings? Casinos, shopping, the rodeo it all draws huge crowds. Or will there be a NFR with no spectators, strictly TV coverage??
This will really be a game changer for those that stayed home or didn't have any luck at the winter rodeos.
So far I haven't seen anything about Reno cancelling. The list of cancelled or postponed rodeos on PRCA & WPRA is getting long.
I think I seen Red Bluff was cancelled. That's a big money rodeo to cancel. Will they count the money won from the first few series at Rodeo Houston? I did see college rodeo finals were cancelled. Such unprecedented times we are in.
I read that the cancellation of the Houston Stock Show & Rodeo cost the city of Houston a BILLION dollars. That is just crazy. I can't imagine that it would be fair to include the money from Houston counting toward the NFR. I don't think that Cheyenne has been cancelled yet but I guess we will see.

This has an economic impact of $540 million dollars. Really sad.
More, I'd say. This is going to have an impact on so many businesses in/around Calgary. Tourism, small business, hotels, etc. It goes on. I live here :(
