I've had this gelding for almost 2 1/2 years now. 

I never received his papers, now that I have more time on my hands I'm just curious about his blood lines and wanted to do some research. 

He's a gem, If I'm ever in the market for another horse I'd definitely want to look for similar breeding. 

Brand is located on his left hip,looks like " L (cactus?) S " 

Was told he was originally from Ohio, bred to be a barrel horse.

I've been out of the barrel horse world for almost 10 years now so I'm not even sure where to begin to look.
