Father God , guide me today to do all things that will bring glory and honor to You AMEN ?? David confessed the greatness of the Lord, PRAISED Him for equipping him to be VICTORIOUS in battle and spoke of HIs lovingkindness. David was a shepherd and therefore concerned for his flock. He provided the reminder that as POWERFUL and AWESOME as the Lord IS, He still cares FOR EACH of His children compassionately. David spoke to God's display of POWER and gave Him ALL the GLORY. The Lord was his Fortress, his shield and the One in Whom he took refuge. We often look to others for protection and provision, but when the Lord is OUR DELIVERER, an AtTITUDE of PRAISE and an ABILITY to REST IN Him follows.  Psalm 144:1 BLESSED be the Lord my rock, who trains my hands for war, and my fingers for battle...my lovingkindness and my fortress, my height towere and my deliverer, my shield and the ONE in whom I take refuge, v 10 The ONE who gives salvation to kings, who delivers David His servant form the deadly sword.  For it is WITH God ALL things ARE POSSIBLE Matthew 19:26
