My gelding has been not himself lately. He is on edge and def less fun to ride! He is ulcer prone but we have not hauled anywhere yet this spring. He is legged up.

I did attempt to feed him  MVP's 6way and honestly I feel it made him hot. He cannot have grain and it didnt sit well with him. So I quit it and He is back on a high quality forage only diet. Im wondering if his tummy could be upset from trying that supplement for those many weeks?

He randomly broke in two the minute I got on him once this spring and has remained  extremely reactive. Especially around the flank area. He is normally sweet and quiet. He is a finished 13 yo old horse. Teeth are done.

I'm starting a 30 day treatment because I'm guessing that's what's up. Any thoughts?

Typing from my phone so apologies for phrasing.

Sounds like ulcers to me. My mare gets very sensitive to leg and just won't settle when she is having a flair up.

I'm glad you agree.  I feel like he is ready to blow up and he is the opposite of that by nature. Getting on seems to make him extremely uneasy. Day 2 of ulcer treatment.
