Would you be mad if a trainer told you that the horse worked good in a tie down and a twisted wire correction bit. When he told you a lie and the previous owner tells you she hates the tie down and worked good in a bonnet and long shank twisted dog bone.

I just feel like that is two different things in a sense. Maybe the trainer just didn't care to really tell me what the horse worked good in. Thoughts?

She does in fact work way way way better without a tie down and a different bit.

I get everyones hands are different but still.

I would not be mad. Just bc one bit works well for someone does not mean it will work well for you. You have a different feel you like than someone else.

I agree. We all have our own feel -- remember hands and seat are connected!  Some folks have incredibly light hands and some have incredibly heavy hands. Most of us are probably somewhere in the middle with our hands. I would not be mad. We know some folks can ride certain horses better than anyone else can -- due to the feel in their hands AND through their seat and legs. Once size does not fit all when it comes to horses and getting them ridden.
