Father God, guide me today to DO ALL things that will bring GLORY and HONOR TO You AMEN. When we think of missions, it is almost impossible to avoid the Great Commission in Matthew 28:18-20 we also quote Acts 1:8 as a reminder that it is God's Spiirt who EMPOWERS us for the tasks of missions. But the missionary call was not birthed in the New Testament. God has been a Missiionary God from the beginning. He called Abram with the promise that he and His people would be a blessing to the rest of the world by declaring the greatness of their God to the nations of the world. Genesis 12:1-3 we find this in Exodus of.  God delivered His people in order for them to be a missionary nations. In the New Testament, Peter told believers that we HAVE BEEN CALLED out of darkness INTO MARVELOUS LIGHT in order to "PROCLAIM THE PRAISES OF GOD" 1 Peter 2:9. There is a call to missiiions in the psalmist's cry of PRAISE to the Lord. He declared that he would tell of the works of God and declare the strength of the Lord. In essence, this is missions. To be on a mission, we MUST TELL THE world WHO GOD IS and what He HAS DONE in forgiving us for our sins through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. When we make disciples, we simply TELL of the works of the Lord and CALL people to respond in faith. Let us CONTINUE to PRAISE God for His salvation, but let our PRAISE go forth BEYOND our church walls, into the far corners of the world!  V 23 My lips shall greatly rejoice when I sing to You and my souls which You have redeemed.  For it is WITH God ALL things ARE POSSIBLE Matthew 19:26
