Looking at a 2017 LQ horse trailer tomorrow. Private sale. Used twice. Going by myself as that's my only option. I don't want to miss looking over anything. What are some things to look at besides lights, etc?

I would call today and have them turn the refrigerator on so you can make sure it's working. It takes a day for most of them to get really cold , so you will know when you get there. Go through it and make sure everything works , AC, heat, hot water heater , water pump. Turn on all the sinks and shower. Look under to make sure holding tanks haven't been damaged.

Brand of trailer and who did the LQ will have a lot to do with the value. As the previous poster said checking the ref and air is important. Check for any soft spots in the LQ floor. Have them hook it to the water so you can check for leaks and make sure the hot water tank works. Look at the tires. If they show uneven wear you will likely go through tires quicker than you should. Good luck on finding a good deal.
