Im thinking bout switching from Iconolast boots.  My horse has had bone chip removal and tendon sheath infection and then I do have some scar tissue.  He is sound and Im going to be running him next month so thought I would look at different boots to help with his problem area.  Front ankle area.  I was looking at the classic equine.

Which would you reccommend?  I usually do polos too but in his case Im thinking I beeter go with boots.

Thanks

I've had the same issues with one that has scaring and tendon issues on the back end. If I put boots on him that have the groove on the inside that runs down the tendon I noticed he doesn't work as well because its pushing in on scar tissue. So I try to get boots that don't have the little goove but they are kinda hard to find, I have a few different brands that I can nanme once I get home to check the trailer(I'm a bit of a boot hoarder

Boots and wraps basically only provide protection from outside concussion, so go with which ever is most comfortable on the horse.
