SPOILER ALERT:

We have long awaited explanation as to why Beth hates Jamie so. dang. much. 

Last night some of that was answered but there is a hole in that story that I hope is clarified on the next episode..  

I am not buying that Jamie just wisked Beth into the clinic and straight to the procedure room without her knowing the details. To have anything out of routine done at my Dr. I have to have the procedure explained by a nurse and sign a waver stating I understand what is taking place. 

Maybe we will be told more in the next episode.

Issue number 2:

The band of broodmares and babies....    From my prospective..it seemed evident (to me anyways) that those horses were bought by a kill buyer..   who else is going to buy that many sight unseen on the spot. Not to mention a total of $16,000 Kayce proclaims the horses brought, means those animals brought $53/head. Kill prices are higher than that...       Anyways seems theres a hole or lack of fact checking or plausability in this one.

There is very little true to life in this show. My husband, who is REALLY into it, says it's really just a soap opera and that you can't get hung up on the outlandish stuff. Once I gave in to that I started liking the show, too. 

I don't know if they brought in some new writers but it's starting to get lame with me.  It was obvious those horses were sold to a kill buyer.  I don't know how you can sterilize a woman without her knowing it.  I would think the procedure would be more extensive.  Then there is the portrayal of barrelracers on this show.  Maybe one of the writers had a bad experience or just doesn't like them.  It's just weird to me.  Then there is the Tater or Tweeter or Tweaker girl.  I haven't figured out her handle yet.  Who dreamt up that hot mess of a character?  Soap opera for sure but it's starting to make shows like General Hospital look like Golden Globe worthy.  ??

I realize that they don't always get things right, but there are also a lot of times they do. I guess its a toss up and you just have to overlook the times they're wrong.

There obviously wasn't 300 head of mares and babies either. LOL 

I'm glad it seemed to pick up a little last night, I was disappointed in the last few episodes. 

I think it goes deeper than just the abortions with Jaime and Beth. 

I wonder how Rip will take it when she tells him?

Who was the guy Jaime called to tell him he was the new Attorney General and asked if he needed help with anything? He looked familiar but I couldn't place him.

I guess I am a little disappointed that they got all those nice close ups of the mare/foal herd and double stacked em and gave them a one way ticket south of the border. It happens all the time though. 

The  sterilization could have easily happened without her knowledge, that was the point of it being done in a reservation health care clinic. It was common practice so the Dr probably didn't explain it to her. At that time period it probably wasn't even a Dr doing it.    

Jaymie called the guy who had previously asked him to send a livestock official to the rodeo grounds and "send a strong message" to the guys who jumped the barrel racers.  I guessing Beth is harboring hard feelings for not being told about the sterilization requirement and taking away any childbearing future...guessing she didn't know but found out later in life.  IF she does eventually tell Rip I'm going to guess he will whole heartedly suggest giving another "tough kid" like he was a chance at a good life / future.  Love this show even with all the "no way, not right, not how it's done, would never happen" scences.

The horses had to get sold without a paper trail.

Farm and livestock were in foreclosure. 

They all were committing fraud removing the horses to help the family. 

I wondered if that was the guy involved with the trailer death, but I wasn't sure. 

I bet Rip kicks the **** out of Jaime when he finds out. . .

I don't watch this show for "facts" or the sight of Kaycee on horseback would make me vomit, especially at a lope. 

I'ma little sick to my stomach though over the meaning this has to Rip and Beth's relationship....

He was the guy who disposed of the bodies in the horse trailer.

Beth already told Rip that she can't have chilren a few episodes ago and he said he only wanted her.

She didn't tell him why but she did tell him that she can't have them.

I just thought that doesn't look like 300 to me.  However I really enjoyed watching them drive them to the pen.  I'm just so happy there is a show like it on TV (especially now) I would hate to pick it apart.  Where else can you get that kind of scenery, good looking talented horseflesh, men that look and act like real men, and women who aren't pushovers.  What really floors me are the fans it has that aren't even cowboys, seems everyone loves Yellowstone.

Good thing some of you weren't around in the old days, they showed the same scenes over and over and Clint Eastwood and John Wayne always wore highwaters.  Clint's horses usually looked like they were going to die.  I won't even mention the cowboy hats.  Thanks to my husband I still get to see it late at night on GRIT TV.

I noticed CMT is showing it at the same time as Paramount, I bet they keep the bleeper busy.

Yeah, those highwaters. . . Cowboys gotta have that "stack" on their jeans!!  There are a few things I notice on YS that aren't true to life, but I certainly do enjoy Rip.  I mean I certainly do enjoy the show

I would rather look and watch these cowboys then the manicured pretty boys, lol. Now these are the cowboys that I grew up watching and love.. Nothing wrong with the way they wear their hats and clothes/pants.

I never said there was anything wrong with it.  If you were watching for authenticity, in the old days you saw a lot of errors and the same scenes over and over again.  I would take Sam Elliott over any of the ones on Yellowstone, he could just talk.

I did a google search on Rip when it first started and wished I hadn't.  I bet his wife buys him a cowboy hat and keeps his hair dark.  I know I would.

And Mr.Eastwoods horses were all really decend looking animals too, I guess I have missed the westerns were he rode almost dying horses.   LOL.. 

I believe some of you would argue about anything.  I'm not going to the trouble of looking up images for you, but check out the Spaghetti westerns of the 60's & 70's.   I look at horses as if I was buying or wanting to ride.

Granted in his later years the horses were much better.

I could pick out a few I could use on Yellowstone.

Yep, but saying "I can't have children" and saying "I'm sterile due to being sterilzed while having an abortion when I was pregnant with our child" is just a tad different...And I hope Rip kicks Jamie's azz.

My husband and I got a good laugh last nights episode when the older gentleman (can't remember his name) was sitting with Jimmy and calling himself the buckle bunny now when they were watching the girls run barrels. 

I really enjoyed last nights episode!  It had some comical moments along with the drama.  Does anyone know where to get that blue coat Beth was wearing?  I LOVED that coat!

Yep a bit outta my price range!!  Why must I have such champagne tastes with my beer budget!  I'm gonna keep my eyes open maybe I can find a cheap knock off version of that coat!

I could buy a semi decent USED saddle for that price! Lol! I loved that jacket too though

I'm giving this thread a bump up!  Want to hear thoughts on last night episode.  What's gonna happen in the final episodes?  It's getting sooo good!  I'm afraid that they'll end the season with too many cliffhangers that I can't handle to wait until next season!  

I think something is going to happen at the wedding.  I agree that there will be lots of cliff hangers.

Last nights was the best episode yet!!!!  I about fell out of my chair when Beth walked out to John and they started talking, loved the "I can't unhear that"  That was a scene that I could see happening in real life. LOL

I think that Rip is going to have to finish a job that he was supposed to do to the ex Yellowstone cowboy that showed back up.  Remeber he told John why people don't like talking to him.  Said they didn't want to dissapoint him.  Well I think Rip just did that to his future father in law by not getting rid of that cowboy.

I thought Kayce told him he was welcome back to the ranch, but I don't remember. John had nothing to do with the Walker drama.

I feel like I need to have a Yellowstone binge watch day and rewatch season 1 & 2 to remember everything. . . 

Rip had Walker pack his stuff and was "taking him to the train station" when Kayce pulled up and said he'd do it, then let him go....

He told him he was welcome back AFTER the old man(John) was gone, didn't he? Kinda of Ryan Bingham fan so I was disappointed when they wrote him off. I could be wrong, could just be wishful thinking

Now I'm going to to have to rewatch the episode when he leave to remember how it went down

Ryan Bingham kept posting comments about not dead yet on his social media so I figured he'd be back. He's one of my favorites, but I was a fan before yellowstone. I'm excited to see what Sunday brings!

Casey let Walker go after a conversation with his dad about doing things different.  I think that is why he let him go.
