Anyone who is funded by that evil satanic bastard is going to pay him back with stunts like this. She ran under her campaign with "criminal justice reform" as her main goal. One report claimed that of 36 rioters and looters arrested, all were released, supposedly because the evidence wasn't "prosecutable". The vast majority of murder cases in St Louis have not been prosecuted. This is a preview of the kind of "reform" we can expect under Democrat rule. Soros needs to just go away. |

Where are you getting this made up version of the story? Sounds like a dan bonggong "deep state" bogeyman conspiracy. There's no video of a broken gate or fence. There is video of this lady out on the lawn waving her gun. The only video of this "angry mob" is videos of the protesters taking videos of the people waving guns. Are only trumpers allowed to see these videos of facts that no one else has? Now to go into with doctor way of thinking and posting, all GOP'er are the same. Well, I didn't research the veracity of the report on Fox, but here is a video. The Fox article showed a broken gate. I didn't feel compelled to verify the authenticity of the photo.
My point is the same. I would have probably acted very similarly, but knowing you jd&ez, I'm sure you would have called a social worker for assistance. As for me, realizing St Louis has the highest per capita murder rate in the US, and one of the top ten deadliest cities on earth, and knowing that there had been several deadly destructive riots with lootings and several cops killed, I would have grabbed my rifle and ammo. I probably would have chosen a different location from which I would have warned anyone thinking about entering or destroying my home. I'm sure you believe the protestors were smiling, throwing flowers, and singing "Give Peace a Chance." I doubt your Soros-funded prosecutor will get much out of her stunt, but I'm sure she will be rewarded by George for her stunt. You sure have a burr up your ass about Bongino. What's up with that? To me it doesn't matter. The mob of people coming toward my house would have prompted a similar reaction....self defense mode. I sure as hell wouldn't run and hide. I sure as hell wouldn't hand out cookies and lemonade. I'd call the cops and grab a gun, and be ready. Nobody could be faulted for that, given that murderous city in the midst of deadly rioting.
The video didn't convince me of anything, one way or the other. Things like this are why people are leaving Democrat cities in droves. |

St. Louis Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner’s staff ordered the crime lab to disassemble and reassemble the handgun Patricia McCloskey had voluntarily surrendered to police via an attorney, KSDK reported. Patricia and Mark McCloskey had told investigators beforehand that the weapon had been rendered inoperable so it could be used as a prop inside a courtroom for a lawsuit against a gun manufacturer. However, in order to charge Patricia McCloskey under Missouri law, the gun had to be “readily” capable of lethal use, KSDK reported. St. Louis Assistant Circuit Attorney Chris Hinckley ordered the crime lab to field strip the pistol. Documents showed the techs found the gun been assembled wrong and the firing pin spring was put in backward, in front of the firing pin, rendering the weapon inoperable, according to KSDK. The documents also showed that firearms experts disassembled the weapon and reassembled it properly, then test-fired it to confirm it worked. Staff in the crime lab photographed the weapon’s disassembly and reassembly, according to KSDK. But there no was no reference to the fact the gun didn’t work in the charging documents against Patricia McCloskey that were written by Hinkley. St. Louis Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner on Monday announced charges against Patricia and Mark McCloskey, the St. Louis couple who displayed weapons to defend their property after violent protesters broke through a locked gate into their private neighborhood to march on the mayor’s home in June. The city prosecutor charged the couple with one felony count each of unlawful use of a weapon, The Washington Post reported. “It is illegal to wave weapons in a threatening manner — that is unlawful in the city of St. Louis,” Gardner said in a statement on July 20. She didn’t issue warrants for the arrest of the McCloskeys though, and instead sent them summonses to appear in court, FOX News reported. The prosecutor has said she would consider the couple for a diversion program which would enable them to later have the charge removed from their records, The Washington Post reported. “I believe this would serve as a fair resolution to this matter,” Gardner said. However, to take advantage of a diversion program, a defendant must first plead guilty to the charge. The McCloskeys are facing anything from probation to four years in prison if they are convicted on the charges, The Washington Post reported. Investigators had also determined that Mark McCloskey’s semi-automatic rifle was not loaded during the incident, FOX News reported. Joel Schwartz, attorney for the McCloskeys, expressed dismay regarding the handling and reporting on the handgun, KSDK reported. “It’s disheartening to learn that a law enforcement agency altered evidence in order to prosecute an innocent member of the community,” Schwartz said. Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt said he would move to have the charges against the couple dismissed shortly after Gardner announced them. Schmitt submitted a brief that respectfully requested the judge dismiss the charges against Mark and Patricia McCloskey as quickly as possible on the grounds their Second Amendment rights had been violated, FOX News reported. “The right to keep and bear arms is given the highest level of protection in our constitution and our laws, including the Castle Doctrine, which provides broad rights to Missourians who are protecting their property and lives from those who wish to do them harm,” the attorney general said in a written statement. “Despite this, Circuit Attorney Gardner filed suit against the McCloskeys, who, according to published reports, were defending their property and safety,” he continued. “As Missouri’s Chief law enforcement officer, I won’t stand by while Missouri law is being ignored.” Missouri Governor Mike Parson said on Friday that he was ready to pardon the couple. Parson told a radio station that he thinks a pardon is “exactly what would happen” if the couple is charged, according to FOX News. “I don’t think they’re going to spend any time in jail,” the governor said. The initial incident occurred June 28 as Mark McCloskey said he was having dinner outside with his family at about 7:30 p.m. when they heard the mob approaching, KMOV reported. The McCloskeys live in a gated community well marked with “Private Street” and “No Trespassing” signs. The incident occurred after a month of protests and rioting in the city where four St. Louis police officers were shot and buildings were torched and looted. But protesters were angry with St. Louis Mayor Lyda Krewson for releasing the names of activists who had sent her letters demanding she defund the police department, and they were trying to make their way to her home to protest, KMOV reported. “A mob of at least 100 smashed through the historic wrought iron gates of Portland Place, destroying them, rushed towards my home where my family was having dinner outside and put us in fear for our lives,” Mark McCloskey said. So he and his wife grabbed weapons and went to defend their home and property, KMOV reported. Videos posted to social media by participants showed protesters breaking the locked wrought iron pedestrian gate into the tony private neighborhood and marching right in. “This is all private property,” Mark McCloskey explained to KMOV. “There are no public sidewalks or public streets. I was terrified that we’d be murdered within seconds, our house would be burned down, our pets would be killed. We were all alone facing an angry mob.” “[They said] that they were going to kill us,” Patricia McCloskey told FOX News. “They were going to come in there. They were going to burn down the house. They were going to be living in our house after I was dead, and they were pointing to different rooms and said, ‘That’s going to be my bedroom and that’s going to be the living room and I’m going to be taking a shower in that room.’” Video showed the McCloskeys standing on his porch facing off with protests, a semi-automatic rifle and a pistol. The video showed Mark repeatedly told the protesters to get out and that they were trespassing on private property. Neither of the McCloskeys appeared to be concerned about what direction their weapons were pointing, the video showed. In the video, protesters reacted with shock to the sight of the armed couple and others can be heard encouraging them to keep walking and not engage. However, some of the protesters stayed in front of the McCloskeys home antagonizing and challenging them, yelling obscenities and threats, the video showed. The group eventually made its way down the street. They painted the word “resign” in giant letters on the street in front of the mayor’s home. Afterwards the McCloskeys filed a police report about the trespassing incident with the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, the Associated Press reported. They told officers that some of the protesters were armed. The McCloskeys have a personal injury law practice together that is also based in the Central West End, KMOV reported. The home which they planned to defend is valued at $1.15 million and was featured in St. Louis Magazine, the Associated Press reported.

Patricia and Mark McCloskey had told investigators beforehand that the weapon had been rendered inoperable so it could be used as a prop inside a courtroom for a lawsuit against a gun manufacturer.
However, in order to charge Patricia McCloskey under Missouri law, the gun had to be “readily” capable of lethal use, KSDK reported.
St. Louis Assistant Circuit Attorney Chris Hinckley ordered the crime lab to field strip the pistol.
Documents showed the techs found the gun been assembled wrong and the firing pin spring was put in backward, in front of the firing pin, rendering the weapon inoperable, according to KSDK.
The documents also showed that firearms experts disassembled the weapon and reassembled it properly, then test-fired it to confirm it worked.
Staff in the crime lab photographed the weapon’s disassembly and reassembly, according to KSDK.
But there no was no reference to the fact the gun didn’t work in the charging documents against Patricia McCloskey that were written by Hinkley.
St. Louis Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner on Monday announced charges against Patricia and Mark McCloskey, the St. Louis couple who displayed weapons to defend their property after violent protesters broke through a locked gate into their private neighborhood to march on the mayor’s home in June.
The city prosecutor charged the couple with one felony count each of unlawful use of a weapon, The Washington Post reported.
“It is illegal to wave weapons in a threatening manner — that is unlawful in the city of St. Louis,” Gardner said in a statement on July 20.
She didn’t issue warrants for the arrest of the McCloskeys though, and instead sent them summonses to appear in court, FOX News reported.
The prosecutor has said she would consider the couple for a diversion program which would enable them to later have the charge removed from their records, The Washington Post reported.
“I believe this would serve as a fair resolution to this matter,” Gardner said.
However, to take advantage of a diversion program, a defendant must first plead guilty to the charge.
The McCloskeys are facing anything from probation to four years in prison if they are convicted on the charges, The Washington Post reported.
Investigators had also determined that Mark McCloskey’s semi-automatic rifle was not loaded during the incident, FOX News reported.
Joel Schwartz, attorney for the McCloskeys, expressed dismay regarding the handling and reporting on the handgun, KSDK reported.
“It’s disheartening to learn that a law enforcement agency altered evidence in order to prosecute an innocent member of the community,” Schwartz said.
Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt said he would move to have the charges against the couple dismissed shortly after Gardner announced them.
Schmitt submitted a brief that respectfully requested the judge dismiss the charges against Mark and Patricia McCloskey as quickly as possible on the grounds their Second Amendment rights had been violated, FOX News reported.
“The right to keep and bear arms is given the highest level of protection in our constitution and our laws, including the Castle Doctrine, which provides broad rights to Missourians who are protecting their property and lives from those who wish to do them harm,” the attorney general said in a written statement.
“Despite this, Circuit Attorney Gardner filed suit against the McCloskeys, who, according to published reports, were defending their property and safety,” he continued. “As Missouri’s Chief law enforcement officer, I won’t stand by while Missouri law is being ignored.”
Missouri Governor Mike Parson said on Friday that he was ready to pardon the couple.
Parson told a radio station that he thinks a pardon is “exactly what would happen” if the couple is charged, according to FOX News.
“I don’t think they’re going to spend any time in jail,” the governor said.
The initial incident occurred June 28 as Mark McCloskey said he was having dinner outside with his family at about 7:30 p.m. when they heard the mob approaching, KMOV reported.
The McCloskeys live in a gated community well marked with “Private Street” and “No Trespassing” signs.
The incident occurred after a month of protests and rioting in the city where four St. Louis police officers were shot and buildings were torched and looted.
But protesters were angry with St. Louis Mayor Lyda Krewson for releasing the names of activists who had sent her letters demanding she defund the police department, and they were trying to make their way to her home to protest, KMOV reported.
“A mob of at least 100 smashed through the historic wrought iron gates of Portland Place, destroying them, rushed towards my home where my family was having dinner outside and put us in fear for our lives,” Mark McCloskey said.
So he and his wife grabbed weapons and went to defend their home and property, KMOV reported.
Videos posted to social media by participants showed protesters breaking the locked wrought iron pedestrian gate into the tony private neighborhood and marching right in.
“This is all private property,” Mark McCloskey explained to KMOV. “There are no public sidewalks or public streets. I was terrified that we’d be murdered within seconds, our house would be burned down, our pets would be killed. We were all alone facing an angry mob.”
“[They said] that they were going to kill us,” Patricia McCloskey told FOX News. “They were going to come in there. They were going to burn down the house. They were going to be living in our house after I was dead, and they were pointing to different rooms and said, ‘That’s going to be my bedroom and that’s going to be the living room and I’m going to be taking a shower in that room.’”
Video showed the McCloskeys standing on his porch facing off with protests, a semi-automatic rifle and a pistol.
The video showed Mark repeatedly told the protesters to get out and that they were trespassing on private property.
Neither of the McCloskeys appeared to be concerned about what direction their weapons were pointing, the video showed.
In the video, protesters reacted with shock to the sight of the armed couple and others can be heard encouraging them to keep walking and not engage.
However, some of the protesters stayed in front of the McCloskeys home antagonizing and challenging them, yelling obscenities and threats, the video showed.
The group eventually made its way down the street.
They painted the word “resign” in giant letters on the street in front of the mayor’s home.
Afterwards the McCloskeys filed a police report about the trespassing incident with the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, the Associated Press reported.
They told officers that some of the protesters were armed.
The McCloskeys have a personal injury law practice together that is also based in the Central West End, KMOV reported.
The home which they planned to defend is valued at $1.15 million and was featured in St. Louis Magazine, the Associated Press reported.

A long time ago here on BHW, I remember that they asked that we limit the "cut and paste" because it took up too much bandwidth (or something of that nature) and to post "links" to information. Additionally, it is a well known fact that copying and pasting code (“copy-paste”) is dangerous to the system, not the least of which is duplicating bugs and security defects throughout the system. From experience, in our Broker-Dealer system, we were forbidden to copy and paste anything, even from "secure" sources..... The same can be accomplished by just posting a LINK ...... unless you are afraid that nobody will read it ..... |

Exactly. Some people are going to find fault no matter what. Some people don't want to click links, so I provide the text. Some don't like videos so I find an article. I do this ALL the time on other forums. Nobody has a problem with it. In fact, if you don't provide links for them to read for themselves, they will call you a liar. Everybody is a fact checker these days. I don't have a problem interpreting what I'm reading but everyone is different and sharing the source is my way of letting people use their own brain. You must skip over the posts where I do say it in my own words. So why don't you just put me on ignore save us both the aggrevation? Have you ever noticed that only about a dozen people post on these threads but they get hundreds if not thousands of clicks. THAT means people are reading them. Those people are who I do this for. Plus the clicks are money in Dave and Gails pocket. I'm also tired of people who bully others to conform to the way they think things need to be. Roxy I'm talking to you. If you wanted me to remove the picture to return the thread to normal, all you had to do was ask me. But you chose to be snarky. That kind trips my trigger when people are that way. So whatever you want to do going forward is up to you. We can be civil or we can fight. |

Not only do I know Scott and Carol are married, they are both in my friends on FB. I got tired of sharing PM's with them separately so I made a group to share with both at the same time. They live in TX and I'm in Oregon. So.... I find your insinuation that there's something besides information/opinion sharing between us to be really LOW, hurtful and a bullying tactic. |

Now I have discovered where they apply these new words. Calling Peggy my "girlfriend" falls under the microaggression category, I suppose. I prefer the term "pussification". It's more of a catch-all phrase, and it covers everything.

I thought the reason she was copying and pasting was because she showing what her sources are sayings so no one can come back and say you intrpret it wrong, you read yourself what she found and you do your own interpretaion. Yeah I probably didnt spell the big word right.... anyways thats why I think she does it but maybe not...

Exactly. Some people are going to find fault no matter what. Some people don't want to click links, so I provide the text. Some don't like videos so I find an article. I do this ALL the time on other forums. Nobody has a problem with it. In fact, if you don't provide links for them to read for themselves, they will call you a liar. Everybody is a fact checker these days. I don't have a problem interpreting what I'm reading but everyone is different and sharing the source is my way of letting people use their own brain. You must skip over the posts where I do say it in my own words. So why don't you just put me on ignore save us both the aggrevation? Have you ever noticed that only about a dozen people post on these threads but they get hundreds if not thousands of clicks. THAT means people are reading them. Those people are who I do this for. Plus the clicks are money in Dave and Gails pocket.
I'm also tired of people who bully others to conform to the way they think things need to be. Roxy I'm talking to you. If you wanted me to remove the picture to return the thread to normal, all you had to do was ask me. But you chose to be snarky. That kind trips my trigger when people are that way. So whatever you want to do going forward is up to you. We can be civil or we can fight.
Exactly why you post the entire articles......you are afraid that no one will pay attention to what you are trying to prove. The problem with MOST of your "cut and pastes" is that they take up PAGES and also make a person have to scroll over and down because they are too big which is a REAL problem for any person using a phone ....but hey ..... what ever is best for YOU ......

I'll go through your complaints one at a time. I don't have a smart phone. People have said they don't like links because it uses data. Thus why I provide the text in addition to the links to video and articles for those that DO want to go to the source. I'm TRYING to accomodate what will make it easier for others to get facts from what I provide. I took out all the advertising from the c & p so I already cleaned up that much. Because you don't read what I provide, you probably don't know that the prosecutor in this case had the crime lab tamper with the gun the woman was holding to make it operable again. Thus she was not holding a lethal weapon at the time of the incident and can't be charged for that. That was the point of my providing this information. I'm pretty sure tampering with evidence is against the law and doesn't bode well for the defendants. I'M picking on Roxy??? BWAHAHAHA I'm pretty sure she got up in my face, not the opposite. I'm having a civil discussion with you now. I'm not cursing at you. I'm not calling names. I sure have said a few things under my breath though. I'm pretty darn sure any name calling, snarky comments and curse words have come from BOTH sides in the past. They sure did come from your side this time. But putting blame on your opponent just one tactic used by people with nothing to say and no valid argument. Roxy is going to be just fine when she gets over being mad. Are we going to be friends....probably not. I'm OK with that. It's really SIMPLE. Don't like threads that have a political nature, don't click on them. Just scroll on by.  |

I have her to thank for posting about the Dan Bongino shows on YouTube. I listen to him regularly now. Interesting stuff. She's right...there are folks on here that just read and absorb and don't respond. I suppose the term for us might be "the Silent Majority"  |
