Horse could possibly be alive but AQHA lists them as deceased at a certain age. You have to contact them to report that the horse is still alive. Had that problem with a broodmare that foaled at 24 and again at 25. Kind of headache when you have DNA that matches on the foal

She's definitely not deceased.  I've had her since she was about 6 or  7.  I'm trying to get the correct age on her.  Bought her from a stock contractor years ago.   I've got 1 foal out of her.  And Steve is my husband......THANK YOU for looking this up.  We've moved and I couldn't find her papers anywhere.  And she was from the Knoxville area.
