Ok I have another question for you all!
We are remodeling! and we tore out the whole bathroom. The stuff that we was going to use fell thru! long story!
So I dont have a lot of money and a tub/shower is expensive and I think I can do something better. Marketplace is high too! and if they are cheap I cant get to them fast enough! and I have looked at lowe's and Home depot and habitat and some other places.
So my question is what can I use as waterproof walls (NOT TIN) for shower wall and I can find a tub cheap.
Of course gotta keep it rustic. and no tile either.

I recently completely gutted and remodeled my bathroom. We had cultured marble put in which is beautiful but unfortunately not cheap. I can't really think of anything I saw that would fit the bill for what you need. Good luck bathrooms are a lot of work.

I wonder bout the water troughs and thought bout them but Im not sure how comfortable they be. I have thought bout looking a siding for hourses and maybe find a pretting siding panel to use as walls?

A few years back - we rented a house with a claw foot tub - and they had a metal frame around the top to hold a shower head and just had shower liner and pretty shower curtains hanging around it from the top of the frame.... rustic and inexpensive

On one of the home improvement shows I watch they did the bottom of the shower in stone. It was really pretty. They spread the stones (large river type rock) down and then spread the mortor stuff over them. After it dried they sealed it.
