Its for Camocowgirl, shes in the middle of all the wild fires thats happening in Northern California, its all around her and shes ready to evacuate if it comes up, the fires are really close to her and her horses, she needs all the prayers she can get from us on here.. And sending prayers for all that are in this wild fire hot zone, lordy its horrible there

I would say it's one of those situations that you don't "wait & see" - load up & get out.  Getting trapped can happen way too fast.  Prayers for all.

Have not heard back from her yet, The last time I got a pm from her she was saying the fire was like 3 miles from her house, and it was going 3 different ways. I'm hoping she will see this and check in on here. I think she said she lived in a little town called Ruth. She also was saying that the fire fighters was coming to hose her place down to keep the fire at bay if needed. Please send more prayers I think she really needs them.

She was saying that she was in the Elkhorn area. If you google Elkhorn fire update you can pretty much see the area shes in..Heres a part of waht she told me... We are just north of the edge of the Elkhorn fire.

I read that the firefighters near Ruth hopefully succeeded in a procedure to protect the town of Ruth,for right now.I hope its true,and i pray shes ok.

These fires are just horrible and devastating to watch .... Many prayers for Camocowgirl and all in their path ..... Please stay safe .....things can be replaced but lives are precious. 

ohhh my goodnesss thank you for your prayers , love and support. yes i am still here. and the lord is keeping us safe.

I am not one to bring attention or drama to myself so this is definitely out of my comfort zone. I have been posting updates on facebook. i am ready to go if needed but we are in a good spot. I am doctoring the horse and watering/feeding cows which is why i don't want to leave unless i have to. my husband is working on the lines. he is a FS dozer operator. according to the thermal maps and direct sight we are about 2.5-3 miles north of the fire.  its going around us and crews are working 24/7 to keep it out of the comminities and housing. 

keep praying the wind is still! we want no wind. and we want the smoke layer- we want the inversion layer- that keeps the fire calm. WE have rain predicted coming tuesday, pray that  the fire lays low and no wind and that we will get that rain! It was nothing short of a miracle yesterday we all prayed and the fire calmed and went back on itself. Thank you alll! this was a surprise to find this on the board today as I just pulled my computer out of the trailer last night to get some food and things ordered. 

Good news.  You have a fantastic attitude.  Let's hope for that rain!

Ok so the rain is not coming Tuesday according to the forecast. It's coming maybe Thursday. So we need those prayers especially today. We need the wind to blow to the south east. They moved base camp father away from me so that's not so good but keep up the prayers. I can feel God working here!
Pray for the wind to blow to the south east and pray for the firefighters.

I was worried about her.  How sad is it in the panhandle of FL they are having so much rain.  I can't imagine being in either situation right now.

Prayers for the fires and the water and the winds and. . . . What an unbelievable year for so so many reasons 

We have had so many BHW members affected earlier this month and right now by fires, flood, wind, etc .......hopefully, they are all safe and sound! Continued prayers for those in the wildfires. I am hardly able to watch the news! 

I'm still home. We have 3 big sprinklers set up now. And hose.
The fire has mostly moved north of us on the ridge. But there is some of it still above us and slightly south and that part is flanking down some. It is creeping down the mountain slowly. It will eventually get to the road. We are across the road. The rain predicted has decreased and I'm not sure we will even get that much if any. :( I'm praying that god sends a big cloud of rain and it pours. I know he is in control of the situation, No matter what happens. I know he will see us through this. We are in a pretty good spot which is why we've waited it out. I'm so ready for this to be over! My nerves are shot.

Continued Prayers!  Our Country is sure having a hay day of terrible events between the fires and the huricanes.  Prayers for all that are in the midst of them

Thought i'd give you an update. they are slow to get us hand crews. we finally got water drops/air support yesterday! the first day through all this crap. so that helped bc the fire was getting hotter yesterday. The fire on the ridge above our place is backing down the ridge but slowly so far. But things were heating up yesterday and i'm so glad that air support showed up. They keep slowly hacking away at this fire I wish they would hit it hard and get it out, mop up and move to the next place, instead of stretching out the resouces so thin that just a little part of the fire actually gets put out! ugh! praying for more hand crews to show up and rain! and no wind events. Thank you all

oh and i'm still doctoring the horse with the injured heel bulb. I got equaide and i'm on my 5th day of using that. Its looking better. Thankfully they used usps to ship it so I could get that delivered. lol. I am adding pics to the linked photo album in that post if you want to check out the progress.

Cal Fire has  been stretched so thin and the Forest Service is a not prepared to fight fires at this level.  We lost all 3 of our families little hunting cabins in this fire.  They weren't much but they were a link to my dad and my mom for our family, complete with log books of stays at the cabin and the family tradition of names, dates and height marked on the post near the fire place.  This year has been devastating for so many and made more so by some really bad choices like Cal Fire pulling all the crews off this fire up near Saddle Camp and sending them south hoping that the dozer lines from last year would be enough to stop it.  Hoping and praying that they get some more air support in there and hand crews too before this weekend, it is supposed to get hot again temp wise and the North wind is supposed to kick up.

I'm so sorry for that piece of your history/family to be lost. . . 

This is so sad for your family . Seems like these fires are happening more then usual, these past 5 years it seems like these fires have gotton much more frequent.. 

We were just one of the many families that lost cabin's up that way and thankfully for most part they were "just cAbins" and not our year round homes.  I pray Camocowgirl's home is safe as is her livestock!!!! 

I'm sorry run n rate for your losses and i'm sorry for all that have had losses. this is so hard. I just read the weather report and it says red flag warnings for sunday and until monday at noon. please pray.

I am not leaving, my husband is out there running the fs dozer as are many friends and other relatives. we have sprinkers still set up and a green grass spot but its still upsetting. This has gone on so long, its like a bad movie that won't end. Just gotta stay strong. Thank you all for your continued prayers and support
