Here is the BHW Potato Soup Recipe

POTATO SOUP

30 oz bag hashbrowns or diced potatoes
3 cans chicken broth
1 can cream of chicken soup
1/2 cup onions
8 oz cream cheese.

in crockpot - add 1st 4 ingredients and cook on low for 5 hours - then add softened cream cheese - let that dissolve.

Sort of like my potato soup recipe only I fry a few pieces of bacon to carmelize the onions, fix on the stove, & use red potatos.  I also sometimes add some heavy creme and other cheeses then top with bacon.  Mine is not very diet friendly. The one you posted looks very easy for camping.

 

I buy my sourdough bread at the Cracker Barrel gift store.
