This is this years keeper filly, we try and hold back one a year---this year there is two. This fillies mama has a special place in our heart, she is our very first baby we ever raised and she is 20 this year. Our long term goal has been to save a filly by each stud out of our initial band of broodmares---not quite there yet but we are getting closer and closer.

So pretty--both mom and baby.

Such nice horses in such a pretty and safe pasture.  I love that.

Thanks---they still will find a way to hurt themselves but we try and make it as safe as possible. Love that 2x4 woven fence.

It's the best.  We have one pen made with that wire and still "Dennis the Menace" managed to catch a shoe in it and tear a hole in it.
