It was much less chaotic than the last one (thank you mute button) but I'm not sure it changed any of the swing voters minds. They were both pretty much on brand. Kudos to Welker for keeping her cool and not letting it get too far off the rails.

I always agreed with the republicans about the debt. But then the republicans flip-flopped on the debt when pumpkin head got elected. ***** McConnell railed against the debt for 8 years under Obama. Most  leveled headed of people last night was talking about how a Harris/Biden ticket would dismantle the country.  Harris is the concern.  Biden won't last, he is too frail mentally and physically.  It is hard to tell if all the lies Biden has been caught in is more from mental decline or just the same ole Joe of 47 years.

I have grown up in the Oil Field industry, my Dad worked in the Oil Field Industry all HIS life, thats all he knew and he was dam good at what he did, All my Uncles( dads brothers) all worked in the oil field, they build their own companys and WORKED theirs A**'s off in their line of work, my husband worked oil field the first part of our marriage, I finally got him to quit and start his own business, my oldest son is in the gas industry, lots of friends are in the oil business, so this really upsets me that Biden says he will get rid of the Oil and Gas Industry, yes it a very dangerous way to support your family while it makes other Americans way of life easier, they have gas to drive their trucks/cars they have heat when needed theres factorys where many many have jobs that depend on the fossil fuel to keep them running, the list gos on..

Yes Biden wont beable to get rid of the Fossil fuel right off the bat but he sure in the hell will work on getting rid of it while hes in office if he makes it and when hes done (gets put away) then Harris will take over to make sure it gets done. I worry about my GrandChildrens furture as well as my Great Grandchildren, Biden?Harris will do alot of damage if they make the office.. Remember when Obama went after corporate jets.  It devastated the industry for some time as orders were cancelled at Learjet and Cessna.  I live here and this is the business I work in.  He was simply not smart enough to realize that thousands built and maintained this aircraft, as he used Air Force One for family vacations.

I did and you didn't answer the above question.  If you want to get into the subject of pollution, you have to get much broader than the oil and gas industry.  Insecticides, trashed electronics, runoff from livestock operations, lead based paint, sewage.  When they wash down the human feces and drug contamination from the liberal streets of San Francisco, where do you think the runoff goes.   Right into the bay where people fish and boat.  Biden was grasping at straws on that comeback.

The problem that Biden's campaign is facing is that they are trying to offset all the statements he's made in the past about getting rid of fossil fuels, banning fracking, transitioning away from fossil fuels, etc... Staements like “We would work it out. We would make sure it’s eliminated", are well documented on video.  He said we need to get to zero carbon emissions by 2025. That's 5 years away.  Everyone has seen his remarks, and now he's trying to deny he made these assertions.  No matter how he tries to walk those promises back, he's stuck with them and people whose lives depend on fossil fuels are taking notice.  He wants to put in 500,000 charging stations for electric cars.  People aren't stupid. They don't like the idea of having to charge their cars for 4-5 hours every day at home.  They don't like the idea of having to stop every 90-300 miles (depending on the car) for an hour to charge their car, even at a "super charging station".  People recognize that the electricity for these cars comes from fossil fuels.  Of course, I haven't even touched on pickups, trucks, and tractors. Then there are problems encountered with electric cars in extreme cold weather.  Add to that, the fact that people aren't excited about paying $30-40,000 for an ugly sh!tty looking little car.  I could go on and on, but the way I see it, the free market is the ultimate answer....not politicians and politics.  I happen to like the idea of solar power, for example.  I'm getting to the point where I'm willing to shell out the money required to go off the grid....IF my solar power is adequate to meet those demands.  I don't need a government program or mandate to convince me.  It just makes a lot of sense.  Companies in the solar power industry can make their case, and consumers will gradually decide....based on cost and quality.  The same with electric cars.  Tesla doesn't get nearly as much in government subsidies as they used to.  They rely upon their appeal to consumers.  Electric cars don't appeal to me at all, but maybe that will change.  That's the beauty of free market capitalism.  I love it.

That was a far cry from a deflection.  I grew up on a farm one half mile from the Skelly Refinery in El Dorado KS.  There were two refineries on the outskirts of the city and it was no different from living in any U.S. city other than there were lots and lots of jobs at these facilities.  There was no way to answer this question logically.

 Yesterday I watched Biden give a gaffe-laced speech in the cold wind in Pennsylvania.   I didn't watch for long.  He said "I don't like smart people" so there was no point in continuing to listen to this angry guy.  I tuned him out.
