| Im not going now so I can say I do not like it. Texas has really stepped up to the plate though so it should be good. |

Location: Kansas | The schedule online says the performances start at 10:00. In the middle American time zone, why so late? |

| Considering that it was TX or no NFR at all...I'd say I'm pretty happy about it going to TX. |

| I think it belongs in Texas more than Las Vegas, but LV will always have the $$$$$ pull.
From what I have seen/read, there isn't much disappointment with it being moved to Texas. Better than it being cancelled and there is still a lot of great shopping options along with other events to attend or spectate. I always felt bad for the girls making their first trip not being able to run in the T&M, but it sounds like those girls are just happy to have something.
I personally don't like Las Vegas so it doesn't hurt my feelings one bit. I usually go out during the NFR for work - staying home this year. |

Yeah, that got me too. Glad they're having the NFR. I'm guessing differences in the locations. The Stock show doesn't happen in the baseball stadium. |

Location: Where the buffalo roam | I think it's awesome! I really wanted to go once I heard it was going to be in Texas, but just couldn't afford the tickets. I hate Las Vegas - I don't gamble, the traffic is awful and it just has no personality (if that makes sense). I lived in Nevada for 16 years so have no use for that city (ask me how I really feel about it). I spent a couple NFRs helping a friend that was competing and you spent most of your time driving and it took forever. |

Fort Worth is private.
It's not the city they just lease the facility. They had their reasons, their reasons sort of sucked but they had them.

| Stupid question here!! I always thought Vegas put up the big money for the huge go round and average payouts. Will the payout be different since it's not in Vegas this year? Will the contestants still get the $10,000 for just participating? I haven't heard anything on that subject so maybe it'll be the same? I'm excited to see the NFR in another location. I'm all for change! I wish they would move it every so many years just because! |

Yes, it won't payput as much this year. So instead of determining the World Champion based on earnings, they're doing a point system based on the Vegas payout schedule. Basically they're going to pretend it's Vegas payout to determine who wins it. |

| Honestly I kind of like it. Vegas isnt really my town I don't think, although I get why it works so well for the NFR. Texas feels like a natural place for the Super Bowl of rodeo. The only downside really I can think of is that a venue like Globe Life Field wont feel as intimate as the Thomas and Mack.

Location: Texas | I have mixed feelings about it being here. First and foremost, I like that it's going to be in Texas. However, I'm salty about it because I'll be working and can't go. |

that would be wonderful - meaning we get that already and wouldn't have to add a pkg or channel for then. |
