| Hello BBs! Looking for easy, healthy dinner ideas to spice things up in the kitchen. It's just the 2 of us, so we usually do a meat and a veggie after I get home from work and feed the critters. Sometimes though, its chicken nuggets or a pizza ,frozen whatever just for convenience when I work late and I'm trying to get away from that. He will not eat leftovers which makes it difficult for multi-day meals (which doesnt bother me at all, so I take the leftovers to work for lunch). I know it's not healthy but I had a dream about meatloaf last night so if someone has a recipe for that too I'd be very thankful :) I have an instant pot but no air fryer (yet). |

Location: Under The Big Sky Of Texas | I use my crock pot A LOT, lol. I made beef stew yesterday and let it cook all day untill we were really to eat, so yummy!!!! Pot roast is awesome... And I love my left overs, its just the two of us also and this crock pot is the best thing ever, in fact I'm going to buy a bigger one so I can have even more left overs, lol.

Yes, I did look through those for ideas just wanted to see if anything had any quarantine new recipes out there since we have all been cooking at home a lot more. I'm going to the grocery store later and I want to grab some different items.

Location: Montgomery TX | I have fallen in love with HelloFresh. Recipes are easy to follow and everything for each meal is all together in one bag and the variety of receipes blows my mind. Also - I have lost 15 pounds because there are no leftovers to go back for seconds and thirds. The vegetables and seasons/herbs are fresh and there's no stopping at the store for onion or carrots and ending up with a basket full of stuff because you have everything you need - except for olive oil, butter, salt and pepper - things you always have anyways. I usually order 3-4 meals a week and it really has "spiced up" our meals. lol I don't know about y/all, but we get stuck in the rut of eating the same things over and over and over... I also like that you can choose your meal plan based on your dietary needs - low calorie, low card or gluten free or vegetrian etc - of course we are on the meat and potatoe plan. LOL |

I borrowed one from my niece and never used it - it sat on my shelf for 4-5 months..... I used it the one time she brought it over and showed me a recipe and how to use it. |

Location: Kansas | This isn't even officially a recipe but you can brown a skilletful of good quality ground beef, cover it with water and slice potatoes into it. Then let it cook down gently until the potatoes are done but not mushy. Careful not to use too much water but you do have to cover the potatoes. It also needs some salt and pepper or it's pretty bland. A small salad and and some biscuits with butter and jelly and ain't too bad. One of those dishes where if it doesn't fit your taste the first time you make some adjustments and it gets better. |

Yum, I'll try it and report back :) Thanks! Last night I made chicken stir fry that turned out pretty good. Chicken tenderloins cut up into bite size pieces, cook in the skillet with salt, pepper and evoo, set to the side, browned onion, peppers and mushrooms with a little italian dressing, mix everything back together and let it get all happy for about 5 min or so. Put it over a bed of rice and yum :) Also something you can add or subtract from. Total it took probably 20-25 min and you can adjust the portions to fit your family size. |
