Pardon for what? First you have to have commited a crime. What crime? When did a court find him or anyone in his family guilty?  The whole thing is total BS.

I thought that came from Trump and Matt Geitz.  Matt said Trump should pardon himself and many more when he leaves so Trump actually asked if he could pardon himself.  

Some democrats were talking about continuing to go after Trump when he left office.  So much for wanting him to leave peacefully.  Oh thats right, it's different if the democrats want to keep him around in their heads.  Maxine Waters for one, the most criminal of them all was talking about going after criminal Trump.  First off Maxine needs to be investigated again and fairly.  In my opinion any politician that gained a substantial fortune while in office needs to be investigated fairly and objectively including Biden and ice cream Nancy.  

As far as going after Trump when he leaves office I am sick and tired of my taxpayer money going toward the "Get Trump" movement.  Fours years at it and wasted when they could have been doing something for the people instead of massaging their butt hurt feelings.  Where is the Covid relief?  Ice cream Nancy just called congress in for marijuana and tiger king.

OT if you think Trump's tweets were bad, many and offensive wait until they start trying to confirm Biden's pic to run OMB.  Trump in a longer time frame of being on Twitter had about 30,000 fewer tweets than her.  Hillary's girl has been busy going after republicans on Twitter.  Lol I hear she has been busy trying to delete her mean girl very offensive tweets...apparently now she is in need of those that she beat up on to vote for her.

The next 4 years of Obama/Hillary cocktail promises to be entertaining.  Only difference Biden nor Harris has the charisma Obama had to fool his supporters, nor Hillary's bulliness to keep her supporters in line.Red wave will continue with the mid terms!

Some things he's protected from indictment on as a sitting president. He's going to pardon more of his crooks and he will find a way to pardon himself or get himself pardoned. He is corrupt. This has been a corrupt administration and he should be held accountable for his damage. But he won't be even if put in jail. He's damaged this country for decades. 

The justice dept right now is looking into a pay for pardons scheme. For mthem to do that while he's still in office means there must be remarkable evidence. They know he can, and will, fire them for speaking the truth.

It will all be for nothing. The crooks, including trump, will be pardoned. One way or another.

Trump is wrong ..... as early as June 4, 2018 Trump tweeted that he had the absolute power to PARDON himself ..... THEN, Nov. 25, TRUMP re-tweeted the tweet by Matt Gaetz that the president should “pardon everyone from himself to his administration officials" ...... IT is NOT fake news ..... I guess he forgot that HE tweeted the suggestion. Surprise....surprise .... the media picked it up ..... LOL

This came up in 2016 if Hillary won if she could pardon herself then again a few years ago when it was brought up about Trump as well as by Trump. I believe even Nixon toyed with the idea.

One group of legal scholars say yes he can because the Constitution does not explicitly prohibit it.  That excludes impeachment for high crimes etc, civil suits and as you mentioned state criminal cases.

Another group of scholars say no a President can't because it would ignite a constitutional catastrophe.  I agree with this even with my very limited knowledge.

Recently Trump has been retweeting tweets calling for him to pardon himself and his family and Sean Hannity which bless his heart is passionate about Trump but can be a bit of an over zealous nut, called for the same on his show.

I guess you missed the point that Trump labeled it FAKE ..... when HE and others have been tweeting about it (LAST week) ..... THEN the media picked it up ....SO IT IS NOT FAKE !!!!! 

No I didn't.  I was simply adding to the conversation and also thought it worth posting Trump's entire tweet in its correctness.  Just a note, it is sort of, itty bitty fake news to post that Trump said he had the absolute "power" to pardon himself when the operative word was "right".  The implication is quite different.

I haven't heard Trump call this fake news so I really couldn't speak directly to that.  I have heard him call the pay for pardon investigation fake news.

Again no, that is what I posted.  You posted this; as early as June 4, 2018 Trump tweeted that he had the absolute power to PARDON himself.  Again right and power imply two different things and I am sure Trump was aware of that when he tweeted it.

I think a few of you all have been whining about the fake news, unfair elections and investigations.  I'm a pretty happy camper just bored from being at home.  I do have some serious issues I have tried to discuss for months, like the virus and healthcare costs.  Do you all consider that whining?

If I were upset and pouting because some equine event got cancelled, I would consider that whining.  Or heaven forbid being ask to wear a mask.

I think a virus that has touched every state with so little discussion on here is amazing.  I want to again thank all the front line workers no matter what they do because I believe they are in for a rough ride.  I'm sure the 275,000+ people who have passed wished it was just like the flu.

Well I guess my search results are all wrong because when I search Covid 19 or even just Covid, the last post about it was on 4-2-20.  Searching Coronavirus the last post was in March.  I guess not much has changed with thinking on here since then.  So I guess I should have just used the search instead of asking a stupid question. Since the CDC changes it's mind weekly.

Since so many of you think the fake news just reports fake stuff, I would like to hear how it is in your area?  I know many on here are nurses however IMO Bear spends more time trashing liberals than discussing how the hosptal bed situation is.  I know my state sent out a letter to retired veterinarians asking for help.  I find that a little scary but I know some I would rather have than an MD.

Yesterday while watching the Michigan senate hearings on voter fraud a democrat refused to ask the witness any questions and instead grandstanded going after Giullani about the rumor of seeking a pardon from Trump. If he is seeking a pardon and it is unlawful it should be brought up respectfully elsewhere.

OT, another democrat just sat there, wouldn't ask a question and directly said all of the witnesses were lying even though they had sworn avidavits.

I felt so bad for those witnesses trying to do the right thing and not all have been republicans.  For all the faults of republicans at least they have never sunk democrat low
