This may not be helpful but I will take what recipes I can and substitute where I can.  Some recipes that call for eggs or butter, you can use applesauce instead.  Where milk is needed you can substitute lactose free milk products.  If anything it may throw the texture that you are use to slightly off but the taste is still yummy.  The internet is full of substitute charts and measurements.

If he cant have butter I have found that most cookie recipes that call for butter turn out really well with butter flavored Crisco.

Divinity is basically egg whites (I've used the store bought egg whites in a carton) & sugar.  And I loooove peanut brittle, he could probably have that.

He can have eggs. The issue is butter. And gee (clarified butter, doesn't have lactose) just doesn't bake the same.

I will have to try the butter flavored crisco. Thanks for the suggestion!

The snowflake is just over 3". This one is going to one of my husbands uncles, and I hope they do eat it. It will be the only one like that! I was cramped up and burned out after spending an hour on it!

Not necessarily for Christmas but I have a 5 ingredient brownie recipe.

1/2 cup flour

1 cup sugar

1/2 cup salted butter, melted

2 eggs

1/3 cup cocoa powder

whisk together butter and eggs then mix with dry ingredients.

bake in a 9x9 baking pan on 350.

bake 25-35 minutes or until toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

I'm going to do chocolate chip cookies, almond joy cookies and brownies from scratch to give out. I may also stop at the local mom and pop candy store and get another treat to include with the goodies I give out.

oh crap.  I guess butter is dairy. duh.  Maybe the butter can be substituted for something else.
