I recently purchased back a mare I reluctantly sold a few years back. Long story short, the business that my husband contracted with shut down, sacrifices were made. Horses were sold. I unknowingly sold her to a horse trader who had her sold the day after she picked her up. We tracked down and stayed in contact with the people that ended up with her.

They high school rodeo'd on her pretty hard. I basically bought her back lame. They pulled fluid from her stifles. Ultrasound didnt show anything. They had her injected with ProStride. Decided they needed something faster and sold her to me.

Had my vet look at her today. He said without arthoscopy, theres really no telling what's going on. He recommended putting her on Platinum Performance CJ. Daily Previcox. And possibly start Adequan if she needs a bit more. He said main goal is to lessen the inflammation in her stifles.

I have been looking into trying MVP Exceed 6 way. They're pretty similar in cost. I'd prefer to feed a pellet over a powder anyways. And overall, MVP appears to have higher amounts of Glucosamine,  MSM, etc., than Platinum.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

Platinum is NOT a powder. It's a granule. It's basically ground flax seed base. My horse licks it up off the bucket. No grain needed.

Never tried Exceed 6 way. I've tried platinum performance cj on my racehorse and had amazing results!! I got away with feeding 1 scoop and he looked and performed great!

I used to feed exceed 6 way and my gelding looked amazing! He's now on Mag-Max by Oxygen and is looking great! I love both products.

I just started my two senior horses, they are retired, on Bee Pollen that I get from Springtimeinc.com.  Check it out.  Bee Pollen has a lot of benefits.
