Alfalfa hay or pellets/cubes are a better weight builder.

Its essentially just liquid form of rice bran. It does work, but when there's cheaper options that work just as well its hard to justify the price

I just use the Max E Glo rice bran meal. Mine get soaked alfalfa pellets, it mixes nicely with that. I just do one cup a day for mine and they bulk right up

Is the rice bran oil and the meal the same? What do you like better?

Body builder is basically rice bran oil diluted with corn oil. The active ingredient Gamma Oryzanol is a natural plant sterol that does promote lean muscle. Gamma Oryzanol is a naturally occuring component of the oil portion of rice bran. Products like Renew Gold, MaxE Glo, Natural Glo and a few others that have food grade stabilized rice bran as a significant portion of the formulation will provide Gamma Oryzanol without going through the solvent extraction process that most refined rice oil goes through. In addition, you get the other benefits found in stabilized rice bran, like very high quality protein and natural vitamin E, that have been refined out or distroyed in the oil processing. Plus, no corn oil.

Gamma Oryzanol is an effective substance in encouraging lean muscle if the rest of the necessary building blocks are present, and the form in which it is delivered is absorbable by the animal.
