Hey Ladies!! I need your help. I would like input on brand size...... 3 letters side by side on right should of mature horse. I will only brand the horses that I am listed as breeder. How tall should the letters be? Overall length? Would anybody like to share their shoulder brands? Thanks!
Mine is 5 inch. Its a bullseye so it is round. I decided I wanted something that the look wouldn't be affected if it wasn't applied perfectly straight or level.

I think it just depends on your personal preference. I personally like small brands. I do not want the brand to be a distractor from the horse. I will not brand a horse again that already has a freezebrand. To me, one is enough. I also wait until my colts are 2 before I brand them.
Our freeze brand is the smallest they made at the time, 2 x 4 inches for 2 characters.
