Father God, guide me today to do all things that will bring glory and honor to You AMEN. HELLO, my friends. As you journey through another day, the Lord Jesus has an encouraging word for you. He ALWAYS does. This is why it is so IMPORTANT to have this daily devotional time WITH HIM.  I have often found myself wrung out and in need of a "special infusion" of the Lord's presence and His grace. You are NOT alone in your struggles. In Proverbs 22:22-29, invokes the mass of humanity. ALL of us are in the battlefields of life.  Do not rob the poor because he is poor, not oppress the afflicted at the gate, for the Lord will plead their cause, and plunder the soul of those who plunder them. Make no friendship with an angry man, and with a furious man do not go, least you learn his ways and set a snare for your soul. Do not be one of those who shakes hands in a pledge, one of those who is surety your debts; if you have nothing with which to pay, why should he take a way your bed from under you? Do not remove the ancient landmark which your fathers have set. Do you see a man who excels in his work? He will stand before kings; He will not stand before unknown men.  The word "gate" is used to describe that place where so many come and go. How easy it is to become one of many!  How easy it is to simply get in one and "go with the flow". How easy it is to take advantage of others, especially the poor, helpless, elderly, and downtrodden. How easy it is to lower the standards set by those who have been found faithful to the Lord. How easy it is to give way to bad behavior.  What the Lord wants us to KNOW IS that HE IS WATHCING OUT. He is watching and caring for th epoor and mush as He is watching and caring for ALL those who LOVE HIM. Our challenged is to LIVE UP to ALL Christ is IN us rather than down to a world lost in their trespasses and sins. Dear Heavenly Father , I am SO GRATEFUL that I can walk through this day WITH You in my heart and in my life. I do not know how to manage to please You without Your abiding presence. I am challenged in my witness for you at every turn of life and in every way I confess before You and ask You to give me strength for this journey. In Jesus MIGHTY NAME, AMEN. My Lord and Savior.
