| I hadn't been able to find nice clean oats locally in a very long time so I just quit feeding them and looking. Seemed they were either really small, and dusty or had a bunch of other little things in them. I always thought there didn't offer much in the way of nutrition and being high in starch I know a lot of people shy away from them now, but I could see how they might give a short term boost... give it a try! |

Location: Willows, CA | If your basic feeding program is providing the digestive energy that the horse requires it is unlikely that you will see a performance difference. It may make the horse a little more on the muscle, but my experience has been that doing so will not translate to improved times. |
