Whats the best way to Ice your horses Legs in order to reduce inflammation following training/long hauls. Cold hosing is good but the water isn't always cold.

I’m sure others have a better way, but when I had to ice a horse at home due to injury I used big gel ice packs from my chiropractor and wrapped a polo around to keep them on.

CoolAid wraps have been awesome for me.
I don't have a LQ, so I just freeze them (about 1 hour) in my freezer at home before I got, pack them on ice, and then they are ready to use after a barrel run.

They make a wrap called cold flex. It comes in a plastic container and reusable. Not sure what the material is but it is designed to pull heat away from a leg. They are like 10.00 or less. Also good ol sore no more poultice is what i use most of the time. Great stuff and easy to store !
