Location: TX | I'm curious...if you have a horse sale ad on this page, have you been receiving email inquiries? Two reasons I'm asking , I've inquired over the last few months to add and NEVER received any responses; second I sent an email to my own sale ad and it was rejected as spam and would not go through (using the unanimous email option). |

Location: TX | We received phone calls and text messages. However when I tested the email, the receiving server identified the email as "spam" and returned it. I've since had to change my password twice (not saying it's due to this or not, but it started when I placed the ad). Plus any inquiry on a horse via email on this page, has never received a response in the last few months. Just wondering if any sellers are receiving emails. |

Location: Millen Ga | I only recieved 2 emails from my ads, but did get lots of texts and calls. Those were from 2020 and I had 3 horses listed at different times. |

| I've got one advertised right now and have received emails, calls and texts. I just went to check my spam and there was nothing but spam there. |

Location: TX | Thanks everyone...just was trying to check to see if there was an issue with the emails. Sounds like it is working. |

| I have had very few responses back when I inquire on an ad. Unless there is an alternative contact in the ad somewhere. I just inquired 2 weeks ago on one and never heard back. No other way to contact. I have bought 1 horse on here and obviously communication did go through. |

 BHW Tour Guide & Concierge
Location: Cyberspace | We read this thread and immediately checked several random ads to see if they were recieving emails. The ad owners were. Several years ago we also gave people the opportunity to hide their email and respond through the server with an anonymous response, much like Craigslist. If an ad owner chooses this option and doesn't give out their email for whatever reason, then they would recieve email responses from our server. Example: Reply by email anonymously: BH-200FE1F3-367383@contact.equinemediaworld.com If you choose this method, depending on your own ISP, or your personal computer security, any responses may well end up in your spam folder. Some people prefer to not give out their email and just check their spam folder daily for emails they recognize. In any case, our traffic and responses have been very good and we appreciate the increase lately as people have been placing alot more ads on BHW. |

Location: TX | This is what I did originally and when I did a test it came back as "spam" from receiver. I was curious if any other sellers were having this issue since I have inquired on a couple and received no responses. |

| It is actually nice that there are forums similar to this. I just hope that there are a lot of other communities or thread similar to this. It is a great way to keep sales going. I am also been interested in horse racing and of course to the different breeds. This is also the reason why I usually spend my time reading articles. The great thing about this site is that it is easy to navigate and is definitely for those who want to learn more about horses and horse racing. |
