Those of you who chose to ride/compete while expecting, did you go to a bigger saddle seat size for a bit? I wouldn't be looking at riding after the 4 to 5 month mark and no I'm not pregnant yet, but we have kids planned in our future and plenty of horses to ride. I would also only be riding on the trusted mounts (no colts)...but currently ride in a 13.5 or 14 and while that fits me well, I don't feel like there is much room to "grow." Thanks!

I rode in my normal seat size for most of my pregnancy. By the time I got bigger I would only trail ride or walk around the arena here and there, but I did ride in my husbands rope saddle because it would have been uncomfortable in my smaller seats.

Thanks for your input, all your thoughts and ideas make sense. Hoping to plan it where I can take a break while being pregnant during the winter, but things don't always work to plan. My SO knows me well enough that I'll ride as long as I possibly can, even if not competing. But neither do I imagine that I'll be a skinny minny when I'm pregnant either, haha.
