I need an aluminum stock combo. Not sure what brands to look at. I can spend around 25k. Any brand suggestions? Any to avoid?

I have to order it with an insulated tack room. I'm in northern Cali so we get the hot summers and the damp cold. Thanks

I love my Sundowner Rancher TR.  I ordered it custom in 2010, it's been used hard, and you cannot tell it is 11 years old.

I just bought a 2012 Elite and I am super impressed with how well built it is. Not sure if the newer ones are the same but this trailer is so solid and pulls great.  I had a 1998 Hart and that thing held up well but was not as solid built as the Elite, could be a difference in year models, who knows?

I had a Sundowner, 2005, bought brand new, that thing was a POS! I have seen older Sundowners that looked really solid though so I guess it just depends on the specifics of what you order and how they are built now.

Thanks

Oh gee. I was looking online at that sundowner rancher tr. hmm. What about exiss - I know I read before they are not at heavy built but did they improve or no?

Any other brands for around 25k. Im not looking for fancy. Pretty much need a basic model other than a fully insulated dressing room.

We have had our 22 foot Logan Coach since 2011. It has held up well. I really like the rhino lining inside, as it keeps the noise down. This is a heavy trailer vs. our regular stock Eby aluminum.  It does pull really well.

Highly recommend Platinum.   I just bought a 2021 4 horse combo for under $25k.  Can haul 5 easy if take slants out.  Poured in rubber floor (not the Werm brand, but still good).  Swinging saddle rack in the front tack.  Tinted plexiglass all the way around and we added a ramp.

Are you looking for a center cut gate and straight wall tackroom? Or, dividers and a slant wall? 4 Star has the runabout series which is 6'10" wide.

Center gate. I am going to get a fully insulated tack room though. We get a lot of condensation here.
I saw somewhere where they can be rolling or sliding so if your hauling a horse that needs its own "stall" (like a regular slant) you can adjust it to that and the rest would be open. I thought that was pretty neat.

Then I saw a center divider mounted on the slant Instead of the traditional straight across divider style. I thought that was neat too. So I dont know what to get.

right now we have a traditional stock trailer and that seems just fine. But I'd like to know if anyone has these newer options and how they like them

Feel free to PM me. I can help you figure out what you need and then you can look at brands, etc. I work for a trailer manufacturer.
