| There are plenty of folks that are very unhappy about this but there are MORE who are elated ... if they still want to cover up, be my guest! You won't get any flak from me even though I received plenty from the pro maskers when I wouldn't wear one. |

I do not know the answer to that specifically... but I do know that places of business can still require it just as the No shirts, No shoes, no service deal. We will see. Hopefully it will be across the board though and just allow it to be a choice instead of a requirement. Like it should have been from the beginning. |

Either Blaze or Breitbart said the governor said we could not be prosecuted for not wearing the mask. |

We have never had a mask mandate. However, the individual cities/counties did. And, they still continue to. Some business's also. Some are even chain restaurants. We just chose where to go and spend our dollars. |

We were running in Ft Worth yesterday and while waiting in line to get a drink, no one was wearing a mask until they got to the register to place an order and then put one one..... BTW, when did peaople start taking medical/health advice from politicians? I am more likely to take political advice from a dr. than the other way around. |

I hope so too. I have only worn one twice. Once when I was in the hospital and once during a job interview. Otherwise, I flat refuse to wear one. Plenty of data out there that says that cloth masks worn by the public are pretty much useless. Even my doctor said they are useless. Politicians are kind of like lemmings. Once one does it the rest will follow. |

She put all these men (Governors) to shame, so thats why I think Gov Greg Abbott thought that he better step up to the plate and show that he can be strong to and stand up to these people that want to keep us all under their thumbs so he decided to lift the mask mandate. The Mayor and Judge Wolfe of San Antoino are having a fit.. I think alot will still wear their masks but thats ok, let them wear their mask thats their choice, my choice is I dont want to and wont. I still keep my distance and dont want anybody that I dont know in my box, I respect others space anyways even befor this covid cra* when others are breathing down your back while standing in lines to check out somewhere, theres alot of rude people. | Plenty of folks boo-hoo'ing this morning about the masks being lifted, as if their personal rights have been violated, imagine that. When you tell them, they can still choose to wear a mask in public, its usually crickets and then some mumbling about not everyone getting the vaccine. When did ones health become everyone else's responsibility?? |

Nothing would frost their asses more than if we collectively said "good news" and went about our daily lives while paying attention to more serious matters. I think the more attention to masks, the more liberals like it. I say scratch this one off the list and reconnoiter.....Move on to ongoing threats, like threats to the 2A, the flood of illegal aliens, the revitalization of the military-industrial complex in the ME, death taxes, taxes on retirement earnings, attempts to destroy the oil industry, and so forth. For entertainment, watch the Dems cannibalize Cuomo for sexual harassment (in an attempt to shift focus away from Democrat Governors acting in unison to kill nursing home residents....which is a far bigger threat to the party.) |

This is how this virus originally got out of control, in sanctuary cities by migrants. Cuomo admitted it without really admitting it. No one had the authority to stop the 108.....no law that forbid them to be released. Makes zero sense. Thanks again Joe. |

The only way to build herd immunity is to be exposed, I can't bring myself to trust a mask that Dr's have said are practically useless nor can I be told what to put in my body. I don't trust a vaccine that hasn't been studied for more than a year, there is just simply not enough data for me... |

| The announcement of the mask mandate being done away with has created such a stink... its more so than when the mandate was first introduced. I cannot believe some of the comments I'm seeing on Facebook and other media outlets. People are losing their ever loving minds over this! I just don't get it... some, even my in laws side of the family, are angry over this... saying masks only work if EVERYONE wears one .. huh??? It literally makes my head hurt listening to and reading the comments from them trying to make sense of the nonsense they believe is gospel. Citing "Science " my answer to them is to just stay home for crying out loud!

| I'm not making friends or a few of my in laws very happy.. but I cannot stand a double standard or just straight up nonsense that's being spewed. I see a few friends crying over this mask ordeal saying that they will still wear a mask to protect others... thats cool, it really is... yet you come to my home, without a mask on, hug me, hug my kids, sit on my couch and hang out for an hour... all while maskless... so here's what I asked .... you believe in the masks so much right?? Protecting others right?? You care more about a complete strangers health in a grocery store than you care about me and my family??? Is that right?? Or are you just not wearing a mask at my home because??? But you want to scream and yell on social media about how you will still wear a mask because you're so awesome!!??? Puuuuhlease.... one is a tech at a hospital, she says she's around covid people all day long .. I have what could be considered a high risk child at home too... we don't really consider him that anymore... but still... its just ridiculous to me... not a single person that I see raving & ranting on Facebook has stepped foot in my home with a mask on... welp... I've been blocked, deleted and comments disappeared lol! Oh well honey.... you are still welcome at my table ... with or without a mask |

All the time .... but I actually do enjoy most of it.. my family lives far from me so it's fun to see my nieces and nephews, cousins and siblings plus my mom on there .. I use FB marketplace to sell my chicken eggs and chicks and I find a ton of great deals on there as well.. plus info on barrel races, tack for sale and horses for sale..plus my homeschool co-op is very active on there we use that for setting up field trips and extra classes being offered locally... .I'd say there's more good to it than bad ... I unfollow a bunch of people I don't want to see their stuff, it's easy to do... I'm mostly talking about the people that made snide comments on a post I shared about being happy that the masks were going away. I don't go looking for dumb comments, but when they are on my post I'm gonna react. |

| I think I have more people on my unfollow list than I do friends... not to be rude .. but I just don't want to see every single thing going on. It's kinda nice being able to control what you see and what you don't have to.. I even see that Facebook added a "take a break" button lol! I haven't used that yet. I love posting pics of my boys and their baseball games ... I'm a slightly proud momma! On the other hand, I'm certain I've found my way onto people's unfollow and blocked lists as well.. I'm ok with that too... I try not to take it so personal.. and I'll admit sometimes I forget that just because it's completely a different opinion or outlook than mine or what i perceive as "common sense " it doesn't make it any less important to that person... they feel passionate about their view, just as I do... I need to work on myself in that aspect. |
