we are half way through with our mares foaling! So I wanted to share our first two babies of the year. They are both my sisters. My two are due at the end of March and middle of April.
sorrel colt with strip- Epic Leader x Frenchies Bad Girl (Frenchmans Guy) "Chewy" born 1/31/21
sorrel colt with blaze- Slick By Design x Ole Rare Hope (Rare Bar) "Chase" born 3/3/21
Both mares were bred within days of each other, but the epic recip went to only like 331 days and the rare bar went 358.
Oh my goodness they are both precious!!!! Your recip mare foaling early makes me realize I need to be prepared for my mare to foal early too. We've had them go 2 weeks early and some late, but I guess once it gets close they can come anytime! Congrats to your sister and thanks for sharing pics.
