My gelding has allergies mainly in the spring/summer but I've been using a silver horse year round and it's made a huge difference in his breathing and allergies. I don't use it as much as I should because it has to be plugged up and takes about 30 minutes to finish. What's everyone's thoughts on the equi-mist or flexineb? Equi-mist is definitely more appealing because of the price but i haven't heard much about how much power it has and how deep it goes into the lung.

I use the equi mist. My horse also has allergies and vet has me give him albuterol before he runs. Equi mist is small and super easy to use. I'm not sure it gets super deep into the lungs but mist is mist. Nothing is going to force the mist deep into the lung. The horse has to inhale it.

I have the Equi-mist and I have not been impressed with it. I actually will be contacting Tonda this week because mine is not working anymore. I've had it since it first came out, but I have not over used it and i charge it each time. I prefer using the plug-in nebulizer. I am hoping to invest in the Flexi-neb so i won't have to search for power or carry a generator.
