Where would I send hair from my horse to get allergy testing?

Usually vet pulls blood and my vet says its pretty much useless. lol The report will come back that your horse is allergic to any and everything. Better to just manage it. I have found that FORCO has fixed pretty much all allergies by normalizing the gut. You can send hair samples to Depaolo Equine concepts. He does HHA if you really want it.

So mine was on steroids for a month last august coughing so hard and persistent. I called the vet and asked him if I could ride Bandit on steroids. I thought well no I don't want to do that!  He had awful hives on his neck the past two years the coughing this past year.

I like the platnium skin & allergy for my mare who breaks out in hives. My vet suggested it as her mare breaks out to & she uses it. She said the key is to start them on it before allergy season starts.
