Do people not sell unbroke 3 year olds anymore?? I'm in the market for a 3 year old that has not been started and I swear it's like finding a needle in a haystack! What is the deal? I have a healthy budget, but it seems like there is just hardly anything out there that is 3 and not already broke.

Went to a sale a month ago. A halter broke 3 year old came thru that was gorgeous. She was shown in halter classes the previous year. She won her class at the Iowa State fair.
She brought $5,000
You have to remember that most people want a horse that they can get on and ride.
Very few know how to train a horse or are willing to risk their body to train one.

I have one listed on here that most inquiries seemed appalled that she wasn't started! Yes, she's expensive, but her sire is tops and her dam was my rocket mare. She's not 3 by the calendar yet but is nearing 16hh and ready to go.
