I have not ridden the Fearless, but I have 3 of the FX3's (one for each horse) and I really like them. They are built for someone with short legs and keep your legs where they belong. I was getting dashboarded in my Crown C on my cutting bred mare and this made a big difference. The pommels curve around to hold you in. They are a fairly heavy saddle (not sure of the weight). They seem to fit all my different horse type and all of mine have an 8" gullet. Before I bought my first one, I rode a demo saddle for about a week. At first I didn't like the feel, but after a couple days of figuring out how to ride the saddle and making a couple runs I really liked it (you need to ride correctly and not fall back on bad habits).

I've never ridden the FX3, but I absolutely LOVE my Fearless! I feel very balanced in it. I typically have only ridden flex trees, and this feels a bit more like a solid tree (even though it's a hybrid I believe), but I still love the saddle.

I bought this for a short, stout mare with huge shoulders. She's a bit of a marshmallow.

Anyway, I truly believe in trying saddles because you just never know how the slightest angle difference will effect you or your horse.
