Moving into summer #4 with anhidrosis

im always looking for new ways to try to get my horse sweating in the spring/summer/fall here in Georgia.

I'm about to bring him up during the days to an outdoor but covered/shaded/big drum fans stall during the day and I'll turn him out at night.

he had allergy testing done this winter at UGA with the skin test. He's allergic to everything. I'll add a picture of the test results. He is on weekly immunotherapy injections.

Summers past, I've tried with no success:

Equiwinner patches
Emcelle Vit E
O3 Mega Sweat
Guiness beer
One AC
Acupuncture
Grain-free diet
No alfalfa
Chinese herbs from my vet

I had a vet do him twice last year, and some clips were attached to some of them to a machine. Probably the same thing? It didn't work at all.

My mare had anhydrosis for the first time in her life when I moved her to GA last year. The only thing that worked for me was to keep her up under a fan during the day, hose her off a few times a day, and turn her out at night (hosing her off before I did so). If she got really bad, I could give her ventipulmun, and that brought her breathing down within 15 minutes.

Good luck. I'm hoping that with my horse being here through the winter and getting to experience a seasonal transition into summer, it won't be as bad. Especially because I am hoping she's bred, and won't be able to give her steroids.
