| Since most of us here own a horsetrailer with LQ, an RV or camper I thought this would be a good place to get ideas. I am moving my mother into a nice camper to help take care of her and wanted to get any and all of your camper life hacks to help make it efficent and comfortable. I do plan to buy a shed to put a full sized washer/dryer and deep freezer in for her, and set up a nice outdoor patio so that she can have extra useable space. Any gadgets you'd reccomend or websites with good pricing is also appreciated :) |

Location: North Central Iowa Land of white frozen grass | I would almost bet you could build a pole building cheaper than buying a camper and then building a small building for a washing machine. |

Location: Under The Big Sky Of Texas | I would look into a small 1 bedroom mobile home and they would have washer and dryer hook ups already built in. |

| While we might look into other options later on, the camper solution is the best for the time being. |

| I don't have any specific hacks per say, but I have found that IKEA has a lot of good products for storage and organization of small spaces. Slim line spice racks or knife racks to hang on the wall or the hood over the stove. Shoe organizers that don't take up a lot of space. Small dining tables. small shelves to hold cell phones or eye glasses beside the bed if there is no room for a nightstand. We have a permanent camper and I'm wanting to put in some real steps up to it instead of using the smaller pull out step. There are washer/dryers for campers, but I think they are pretty small and slow. |

Location: OH. IO | The first thing I would get is a DEHUMIDIFIER,campers do get dampness, and it will save many things in the future,no need to spend alot of money on one;) I also just ordered a new shower head for my brand new camper,it is one that increases water pressure, and is also regulated to not SCALD THE CRAP OUT OF YOU, when you turn it back on.

Location: Central Texas | I got an awesome mattress from Amazon for my fiance's camper. It was a Linespa I beleive. It's almost more comfortable than my mattress at home! |

| We camp a good bit during the year and my husband added a broom closet to our camper. It has a clothes bar in it for jackets etc. we only had to add a door and a wall since we set it up against two other walls. I can't believe how useful it is. We also built a safe under the master bed along with a gun safe. The safe is super handy to lock up our wallets etc while we are out and about the camp grounds. We added a Murphy bed of sorts in case we have a guest. Takes up no room since it is shelves when not in use. All of the add ons were DIY so cost effective. I like Wayfair and Walmart for camper shopping. |
