| ok, so I absolutely LOVE my corona cartel grandget - and I know it depends on what they're crossed with but I've met a few and they all seem to have phenomenal minds. However; I can never seem to find any for sale in Canada, almost ever. Is it because no one wants to let them go orrr? Haha.
Im wondering if anyone has experiences with corona cartel horses and what they think? How do they do in the barrel pen?
And who is your favorite CC stud? Are the lines in high demand? Thanks! |

| I've never owned one, but a friend has a really nice stud. His name is Cartel's Feature. He has been throwing some nice babies. He's based in Missouri near me. The offspring have been some nice barrel horses as well as track horses. |

Location: So Cal | My only experience so far has been with my Five Bar Cartel and I love her. She was very tough (*****y mare) in the beginning but I blame that on her dam's side (Streakin La Jolla) and not having a great start at the track. She is freakishly athletic and now that we've gotten past her attitude in the beginning, she is great to be around. |

Location: NW. Florida | I've rode my first Ivory James and loved him. Tons of speed and ability, and a great personality to boot. His only down fall is he has terrible feet and was mishandled at the track and is watchy around men. Farrier has to move easy and deliberate around him. |

| We have a new Bogart filly on the ground, and two mares with Mr. Fowler getting bred to Bogart again. We also have some Four Six Jess offspring who are great. Before Four Six Jess, we bred a couple to Terribly Wicked, and wow are they nice horses.

Location: Mountains of VA | We have a 4 yo mare sired by Tee Cos, the #1 Grade 1 son of CC. She came off the track last year. Beautiful, big mare with a huge hip and she can fly. Sweet temperament but can get anxious. Love her but we plan on using her as a broodmare, will put her back under saddle if we have to. |

Location: Bandera, TX | My neighbor has the only full brother to him. Super Corona . I mentor to a young lady that helps her daily with the operation. She loves the minds on the babies and has kept one and had his brains removed the other day. Said he's using his real thinking self already and can't wait to start breaking him. I know she's bred a few babies for the barrel pen. I helped foal out a Super Corona stud colt last month and that dude was all horse from the moment he hit the ground easy disposition. |

Super Corona isn't a full brother to Corona Cartel. I guess you could technically call them full brother's by blood. But they have different dams. Even though the dams were full sisters, Corona Cowgirl was not in the same class as Corona Chick when it came to running and producing. Not trying to take away from Super Corona. But they aren't full brother's. |

Location: Oklahoma | I have a gelding by Little Corona. He has been tuff. Now I know it was because he has EPM. He would run amazing in the spring. Then he'd just fall apart in the summer when it got hot. In the fall I'd leave him alone, leg him up during the winter and the cycle would start again. Now that I know what to look for, he's so much fun. I'd love to have another! |

Location: So. Cali. | I have a 5yr old Corona Cartel & Mr Jess Perry mare off the track that I like alot. She is very smooth & has a great demeanor under saddle. Downside is recently when she started cycling she is a huge B. Depo shot didnt last long, even on Regumate daily she makes me nervous to be around. Just ordered some of the CEP No Drama. Hoping I can atleast get her comfortable enough to get in a trailer to haul to a vet to be checked out. She wouldnt be for sale had I not won a Traffic Guy son, but I cant keep them all. |
