Its that time of year again, trying to wrangle mare moody-ness! I've had my mare for a year now, and both springs she gets super reactive and edgy. Last year when I first got her I treated for ulcers and had her vetted/teeth done to rule out everything else. I put her on "Mare Magic" as well. Later into the summer it resolved. Same thing is happening this year, she cycles and just loses her chill. I have had her on MVPs Mystic Mare for almost two weeks now and I haven't really noticed any change as of yet. She hasn't had any dietary changes (good alfalfa/grass hay, same as its been all winter, cavalor struccomix feed). I have had friends suggest regumate, which may be my best option but am looking to see if theres anything else out there people have had success with. 

I've gotten along well with THE Moody Mare plus  (powder)  and also Smart Pak Smart Harmony. 

If she is that bad, just use regimate.
